Way back when, it wasn't unheard of for sailors to disappear under the moonlight.
Saltwater tongues whispered from across the sea and in the wind, they promised to drown pirates' misery. They sung lullabies about green glass shards, and men's thick bones scraped clean. No matter how rich you were, no matter how famous or well-liked, it could happen without a sound. Without a ripple.
The Outer Banks was no different.
Bianca Prescott hoped graduating high school meant her only worry would be packing for Law School, and surviving Debutante season. Her new life was set to be clear skies and smooth sailing but beneath the surface, the sharks were circling and soon enough, Bianca would find herself tangled in the same web of murder, mystery and treasure hunting all over again.
They say sirens were an ancient myth, one used to scare sailors but the trail of missing men piling at Bianca's feet told a different story.
