After spending a day in the hospital, Jungkook was finally discharged, feeling healthy and fit once more. Although he still experienced some pain in his shoulder, the doctor assured him that with rest at home, he would be just fine.

A sleek black luxury car pulled up in front of the Jeon mansion, and the raven-haired young man stepped out, adjusting his sunglasses as he took in the familiar surroundings. The Evening sun sparkled on the polished surface of the vehicle, and a wave of relief washed over him as he approached the entrance of what was once his sanctuary.

As he stepped inside, a cold atmosphere enveloped him, the silence echoing through the vast halls. The mansion felt devoid of warmth, a stark contrast to the lively home he remembered. He glanced at the living area, where his mother used to wait for him with open arms and a warm smile. Now, that space felt haunted, every cherished memory fading into the shadows after her passing.

In that moment, Jungkook felt like a shell of his former self-a body without a soul, trapped in the grip of the past. He heaved a sigh, the weight of his grief heavy on his shoulders, and walked straight toward his room. As he passed by, he could feel the stares of the servants, perhaps filled with pity for the life he now led. Their sympathetic glances only deepened his sense of isolation, reminding him of the loss that lingered in every corner of the mansion.

As he was about to climb another stair , the door again swung open to reveal his body gaurd, Jin, who had been anxiously awaiting his return. Jin's face lit up with a broad smile, relief evident in his eyes.

"Welcome back, Kookie!" Jin exclaimed, pulling him into a gentle hug, careful not to jostle his injured shoulder. "I was worried sick about you."

"Thanks, hyung," Jungkook replied, a hint of a grin forming on his lips. "I'm okay now. Just need to take it easy for a bit."

Okay, you can rest now... But how did they discharge you this quickly?" Jin asked, concern and shock evident in his voice.

At this, Jungkook chuckled softly. "You know my dad, right? Always so focused on his work. He probably bribed them," he replied, a hint of sarcasm lacing his words, but there was truth in his tone.

His father had always prioritized work above all else, often neglecting the well-being of his family. It was no surprise that he wouldn't allow his son to rest for long, even after a hospital stay.

Jin frowned slightly, his worry deepening. "You need to take it easy, Kookie. Just because he's like that doesn't mean you have to be."

Jungkook shrugged, trying to brush off the concern. "I know, but it's hard to ignore him. I just want to get back to work, you know?"

Jin sighed, running a hand through his hair. "work can wait. Your health comes first. Promise me you'll take it easy for a while."

"Promise," Jungkook replied, though he knew it would be a challenge. The weight of expectations hung heavy in the air, but for now, he was grateful to be home, even if it felt a little emptier than before.
