Appearance

In Bayonetta 1 and 2, Eternal Testimony has the appearance of the a crow skull with red feathers extending from the back of the skull. In the middle of the eyes lies a ruby gem. Looped between the skull and feathers is a gold chain ending in two rings with a red gem in the middle of both of them. In Bayonetta 3, it becomes an earing with a chain extending from the tip of the beak.

Description

Bayonetta 1 and 2

"A treasured article worn only by the elders of the Umbra Witches, these bracelets are both incredibly powerful and symbols of status. Said to have been crafted by the ancient and universally feared witch queen Aizen, slipping this onto one's arms would allow one to regenerate their magical powers. Legend states that the strange crow's head on the braces is actually Aizen transformed, and she will severely punish anyone who attempts to use the braces that she deems unworthy."

Bayonetta 3

"A treasured article worn only by the elders of the Umbra Witches, this earring is both incredibly powerful and a symbol of status. Said to have been crafted by the ancient and universally feared witch queen Aizen, wearing this allows one to instantly replenish their magical power. Its shape is not fixed, and it is known to change into a variety of forms, such as an earring or bracelet, to adapt to the wearer's combat garb and fighting style.

Usage

When equipped Eternal Testimony will automatically replenish two magic gauge orbs whenever the gauge is depleted.

Aizen (also known as Rāgarāja) is a deity venerated in the Esoteric and Vajrayana Buddhist traditions. He is especially revered in Chinese Esoteric Buddhism in Chinese communities as well as Shingon and Tendai in Japan. He is portrayed as a red-skinned man with a fearsome appearance, a vertical third eye and flaming wild hair that represents rage, lust and passion. There is usually a lion's head on top of his head in his hair.
