I saw she was drowning in the bathtub, for a moment the world stopped around me. I was shocked with the scene in front of me.

“NAYAN” My heart thumped in fear, I ran in her direction and without wasting a second I took her in my arms.

“ SANVI, AKSHIT” I shouted in frustration, I took her out of the bathroom and laid her on the bed. I saw her breathing turned slow.

I pressed the emergency button, it was for an emergency when we need to alert everyone. I saw Sanvi came running, behind her was Akshit. I can see the tension on Akshit's face, he was my right hand and one of the calmest people but when I am panicking, something is there to worry about.

I rubbed her hands, Sanvi came inside and her face turned pale due to tension.

“Call the doctor immediately” Akshit immediately went out following my command. My heart was thumping in fear, never in my life I got this feeling but now I was feeling like my world is at stake. She needs to be fine or I will burn this world.

“Emerald, wake up please” I pleaded, I didn't know why but I wanted her to be all fit and fine. I looked at Sanvi who was rubbing her feet, anger ran in my veins.

“Where were you huh?” My tone was dead serious, her breath depends on Emerald, if something happened to her I will make sure to erase her existence.

“Woh.. Wohh… Raa..ni sa as…ked me to lea..ve” tear fell from her eyes, but I don't care, it cannot lure me.

“And you left” She looked down, She was trembling in fear and it was not a satisfaction for me, I will chop her off if something happened to Emerald.

“I.. Am sorry.. Raana sa” There is no place for apology in my world, death is punishment and promotion is reward,Simple.

“Pray for Emerald, if you can't then pray for your life” I saw a doctor entering the room. He greeted me and immediately approached Emerald. He started checking her up, and we were waiting outside. I couldn't handle this, so I walked back and forth to calm my nerves. I want her to be fit and fine,smiling.

The doctor came outside, never in my life I was ever this impatient, I waited for him to tell what exactly happened to her. I want her to be fit and fine at any cost. I was alone in the corridor, and the rest of the people were waiting downstairs, I don't want anyone to know what exactly happened. I really don't want any gossip about our life.

“It was not a mere accident, Rana sa. it was a suicide attempt but luckily you reached on time” the moment these words escaped his mouth, ground slipped from under my feet.

“A suicide attempt, why and how are so sure about it?” how he is so sure of this is not an accident but a suicide attempt.

“Rana sa, there is no injury on her body. If a person fall in bathtub they can easily get out and if it's being difficult they will try to save themselves and most important they will have injury if they fall by accident but in Rani sa's case she is all fine, she has no injury nor there any scratches, she didn't even try to get out of it” His explanation was making sense to me, I too saw in bathroom. Everything was in its place near the bathtub. That means he was not mistaken, it was a suicide attempt but why?
