Author's Pov
A woman sitting on the couch, patiently waiting for the upcoming events, a smile tugged on her lips. She plays with her expensive emerald ring, her aura giving chills to the workers around her. The woman is none other than Barkha Rajvansh. She is a strong lady with a strong head and a good decision-maker. This quality is inherited in her by her late husband Rajdev Rajvansh. Who passed four years ago.
His death gave her a shock but eventually, she recovered, accepting her fate and came out stronger. She knows it's life and we have to leave one day, it's the ultimate truth and no one can change it, we can only change the journey between life and death.
The car stopped in front of the Mahal and she smiled in contentment, finally her husband's plan was to work on her stone-hearted grandson.
She could hear the dangerous footsteps and she took a deep breath, she needed energy to make a few points clear.
"Finally, the king blessed us with his presence" She teased her grandson, as soon as he stopped in front of her.
"Khama ghani dadi sa" Said none other than Yashveer Rajvansh and bent down to touch her feet.
"Ghani - Ghani Khama, May you get a beautiful wife" She blessed him while he rolled his eyes at her talk.
"Dadi sa, if I am not wrong you're already aware why I am here?" He said while she smiled at him.
"My husband created a beautiful mess in your life. Why would I not be aware?" She said enjoying his dilemma while he sighed in frustration.
"Of course, - he waited for a minute and took time before he put his guards down.
"So dadi sa I will be clear, I don't want to get married. Is there any solution?" He asked her and hoped for a positive response.
"I will be on point. There is no solution except marriage, don't waste your time looking for loopholes, there is nothing you can escape. Why would he leave any loophole knowing you well that you will not hesitate to use it" She said in a firm voice, making it clear to him that he should not expect any mercy.
" Dadi sa, you know I don't want to get married" He said in the same tone giving a clear message he would not back off either.
" Mr. Yashveer Rajvansh, Your life is not yours only. There is an expectation of your people and family that you must fulfill it. You know those diamonds are our ancestor's blessing and your dada sa put it on stake because he has trust in you, that you will protect it at any cost" She roared like a lioness and for a moment yashveer felt guilty.
"Dadi sa, you should also know I have no interest in marriage. You're going to destroy someone's life" He said and tried to make her understand.
"And from when you started thinking about people's? - She said in a sarcastic tone.
"And if now you're thinking about people for a change then think about your people, they have expectations," She said while he sighed.
"But dadi sa..."
"No more discussion Yash, we both know in the end, marriage is the only solution then don't waste time and find a girl. we don't have time ," She said in a strict tone and now Yashveer gave in.
"Fine, but I don't have any girl," He said coldly.
"Of course," She chuckled at his talk.
"If you guys have planned such a good trap then you must have also selected the girl" He said, knowing his family well.
"Quite intelligent you are" She praised him a little, while he rolled his eyes and waited for her answer.
"Arora's Daughter," She said while he looked at her in confusion.
