The sun rose brighter in the sky, a girl stood there admiring the beauty which she can only feel. Her brown skin shone in sunlight, seeking for hope and happiness. She pulled the curtain and the room filled with sunlight. She smiled softly, her green eyes shined in sunlight, making it more mesmerizing, plastering the most fakest smile she could.
"Good morning, mom and dad. One more day passed, I am closer one more day closer to you. Like these days will pass and I will finally be able to meet you" She said, with a sad smile and a tear slipped from her eyes. She wiped it immediately and slowly moved towards the bathroom.
She stood under the shower and turned it on. Finally the water fell on her body and she gave in to her tears. Her tears mixed with water and she let all her pain go. Finally, after taking bath she wore the bathrobe and came outside slowly, by taking the help of the wall.
She slowly moved in towards her closet and took out her dress. She took her sports bra and searched for the threadmark, once she found she wore it slowly and repeated the same with her all clothes.
She thanked her best friend for these marks and dried her hair slowly. She searched for something but couldn't find it. She remembered she forgot it downstairs yesterday, she came out of the room and started walking in the direction of the stairs but her leg came on a ball and got twisted causing her to fall from the stairs.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" She fell on the stairs, causing her to roll down.
"Naiiinnaaaaaaaaa" Virat shouted on the top of his lung as he was entering the house and saw her rolling on stairs. He ran in the direction to hold her, as it may minimize her injury. He caught her four steps before, preventing her from causing more injury.
"Naina, baccha you okay? What happened?" He asked her, and took her in his arms and sat on the couch. Her Aunt Deepti ran from the kitchen and came into the Hall.
"What happened Virat?" She asked in a concerned voice, while a tear slipped from Naina's eyes. Her body was in pain.
"Mom, she fell from the stairs. God knows how?" Virat told her, while she rolled her eyes in dismay.
"Aree toh Andhi hai toh Andhe jaisi rahe na, kyu ghumti rehti hai ghar bhar mein. Shanti se baith nahi sakti khud to disable hai aur hamari zindagi jahanum bana rakhi hai isne"
(She is blind, she should behave like one. She doesn't need to roam in the house. She is disable herself and had made our live hell)
"MOMMMM"Virat shouted in anger, while his hand caressed Naina's back. Naina's heart clenched at her talks but it's nothing new. It's been happening for years and nobody could do anything about it. Tears fell from her eyes and she tried to hide it.
"What Mom? Keep your voice down, don't you dare to talk to me like that. You're shouting at me for this selfish girl, I have done so many things for her. And am I wrong? What was the need of coming downstairs? If she can't walk properly then she should stop becoming a hurdle in everyone's life" She spit the venom, while he gritted his teeth.
Virat knew his mom and he also knew he could do nothing about it. The more he would argue, the more his mom hurt Naina.
"Naina baccha, What happened? Tell me"He asked, wiping her tears while she tried to stop crying.
"Bhai, I couldn't find my walking stick in my room. I thought maybe I forgot downstairs, I came to take it but my legs came on a ball. I don't know how it came here" She told him, although she knows it's not a coincidence, c'mon there is no child in this house.
