Sofnar's windswept coastline was the backdrop for Flaviatas' daring expedition, as he and his four Praetorian brethren tracked an awakened lesser drake. Their pursuit led them to a cave heavy with the stench of dragon's presence. Upon discovering their prey, the five companions readied their halberds, infusing the blades with War-fire and anointing them with dragon grease to maximize their lethal effectiveness.
Within the cave, the air was thick with the noxious stench of dragonite males, who had converged with the lesser drake. Towering over the Praetorians, these dragonites stood as tall as the lofty spires of High Silvan elves. As one of the creatures spotted Flaviatas, it unleashed a thunderous growl, grasping its formidable dragon-scale forged sword.
The beast swung its blade, but Flaviatas deftly parried the attack and countered, severing the dragonite's hand. The creature bellowed in agony, uttering curses in the ancient draconian tongue. A Praetorian brother delivered the final blow, beheading the dragonite. As the lifeless body crumpled, Flaviatas claimed the dragonite's scale and canine as trophies.
Deeper within the drake's lair, the Praetorians unearthed a cache of venerable dwarven-forged arms, once destined for the Dragonite legion.
Flaviatas unsheathed a sword radiant with silver light. His companions examined the scattered weaponry, unearthing a Great Halberd crafted by a legendary, albeit nameless, dwarven blacksmith.
Opting to leave the treasures intact, Flaviatas pledged to reclaim them upon the drake's demise. The group persevered, vanquishing scores of Dragonites amidst occasional encirclements. Ultimately, they arrived at the cave's innermost sanctum, confronting the drake. Yet, their anticipation gave way to unexpected disillusionment...
