As Ogryth flew over the city, his urgency was palpable, driving him to Flaviatas' aid at full speed. The beacon's brilliant light and the War Heralds' rapid flight galvanized the city's response. The City Watch sounded the alarm, prompting the Griffon Knight Riders to mobilize. With two-hundred veteran Griffon Knights joining the fray, Ogryth led the combined force of over two-hundred aerial warriors towards Flaviatas, determined to rescue Flaminanus.
When the riders caught up with Ogryth, the captain asked Ogryth what is the cause of the sudden emergence, "Our brothers are in danger, they need aid captain!"
Captain of the riders replied to Ogryth, "I see herald war master! We will help support!" The skies filled with hundreds of Griffon Knights, Ogryth's allies and kin.
As Flaviatas' party grew impatient, with every passing moment, they re-entered the cave, racing against time to save Flaminanus. Lodart stood watch, awaiting Ogryth's arrival, prepared to direct him. Flaviatas, Vinidus, and Garkus urgently retraced their steps, driven to find Flaminanus and rescue him, or recover what was at least left of his fallen body.
Flaminanus' frantic escape ensued, following an epic stand against hordes of colossal worms. The tunnels, a maze-like abyss, swallowed his sense of direction. The worms' cacophonous screeches reverberated through the caverns, haunting his every step. Survival became his sole imperative, as valor yielded to desperation. Suddenly, an ancient hallway materialized, shrouded in mystery. A soft radiance emanated from the far end, guiding Flaminanus towards the entrance, his last hope.
