Commander Wood's armor clanked against itself as he ran through the hallways of the Lunar ship. He had to get away fast from Queen Levana. She would escape, Wood wasn't sure how, but he just knew she definitely would. The two guards behind him followed in his wake. He could not recall their names, he'd have to ask them later.

"Commander Wood," a voice suddenly said. It was the scrawny, freckled man, Montgomery. He was with the new recruits, so his name was fresh in Wood's mind. He looked suspicious as he stared at his commander. Wood thought quickly.

"The Princess has been spotted on Earth. She is in the ..." Wood's mind raced, trying to think of a remote location where the "She's crash landed in the middle of the Sahara desert. Alert thaumaturge Jael immediately."

"Yes sir," Montgomery said, though he still looked wary as he walked away down the hall away from them.

"Sir," a guard said to Wood's right. "Was the Princess really spotted?" Wood glanced behind him to make sure Montgomery was out of earshot. When he was, he shook his head.

"Just a diversion, we need to help the Princess." The guard looked very shocked. "Queen Levana has tortured us for too long, we need to fight back." The guard took in a quick breath, and looked like he was about to speak, but he didn't, and turned away from Wood's intense brown eyes.

"Right then, come," Wood said. "We need to use an escape pod. We need to contact the princess."

"But sir, how?" the other guard asked. "The images she has been jamming our systems with are untraceable, we don't know where she is."

"And we cannot use the pods, commander," the other said. "The ships have malfunctioned, only the basic systems are online -"

"Basic systems?" Wood interrupted. "Then maybe we can hot-wire a pod."

"Hot-wire? Sir, that would be very dangerous -"

"We'll have to risk it. Queen Levana is after us." He turned to the two guards. "As of now, we and anyone who decides to join us are fugitives. You will either come with me or I leave you to rot. Understood?" It took them a moment, but both nodded. "Good, then let's get out of here."
