Adelaide: i can't believe you asked my father for permission Justin: it's fine he was okay with it as well
I actually asked Adelaide's father for permission to take her out on a date a few days ago, it wasn't easy though but as long as she comes home safe. We sat down in our chairs at the table, it was a fancy restaurant on the lake...it was outdoors and they're known for having the best soup.
Waiter: * walks up to them * welcome, what can I start you gorgeous people off with Adelaide: may I have a sweet tea Justin: make that two, please Waiter: * nods and walks away *
Adelaide and I exchanged looks and started talking...it seemed like the dinner went by so fast because before we knew it, we finished our meals. We were just laughing and enjoying ourselves so much that it went by so quick, Adelaide was so amazing and even though she has a heart defect...she's a very funny and smart person.
Adelaide: would you like to dance Justin: * eyes widened * I can't Adelaide: * sighs * me neither, well not in front of people Justin: * shakes his head * no it's not that, I actually can't dance as in I don't know how Adelaide: * giggles and stands up * everyone can dance, you just have to try...for me Justin: * smirks and stands up * fine
We went to the dance area and I tried to correctly do a slow dance but I stepped on her foot and she groaned. I shrugged and she shook her head.
Adelaide: you're not that bad Justin: don't lie, what's your number one Adelaide: * shakes her head * Justin: okay fine, my number one is to get out of Los Angeles once i finish high school and go to college back in Canada Adelaide: getting out isn't the problem, it's more of what are you gonna do when you finally do get out but that won't be a problem for you Justin: what does that mean Adelaide: as in you can do anything
A few minutes later
Justin: * laughs and gets out of the car * come one, Adelaide
Adelaide got out of the car and I grabbed her hand, I ran to where I was taking her and we stood in the middle of the road.
Adelaide: * giggles * what are we doing Justin: put your foot there and put your other foot there Adelaide: * does what she's told *
I stepped back to show her the " Welcome to California " sign, she still didn't understand.
Adelaide: Justin you're acting like a crazy person, what's wrong Justin: you're straddling the state line Adelaide: so Justin: * smile's * you're in two places at once
Adelaide had a huge grin on her face and jumped up and down. She ran over to me and hugged me, I swung her around and we laughed but our night wasn't over yet. Adelaide and I sat in my car in the parking lot right in front of the beach, I had bought a few temporary tattoo things for Adelaide to choose from. She wanted a tattoo and she was gonna get the tattoo.
Justin: which one do you want Adelaide: * grins and shrugs * you choose for me, Justin
I looked at all of them and then chose one, I showed it to her and she smiled.
Justin: butterfly tattoo, where do you want it Adelaide: * takes off her leather jacket and pulls down her strap * here...right here
I set the butterfly tattoo on her shoulder and used a wet cloth to wet the tattoo down. I waited for a few seconds and I peeled the tattoo off, there was a glitter purple butterfly on Adelaide's shoulder. She laughed and I blew on her shoulder, I was just rubbing her shoulder and just staring at her. She was so beautiful and it was just a shame that she has a heart defect but to me she's just a normal girl who is happy. At our final destination we were sitting on the rooftop and watching the view of Los Angeles.
Adelaide: how can we have beautiful nights like this and still have faith Justin: how can you be sure Adelaide: it's like the wind...I can't see it but I can feel it...I can feel love, hope, faith, and beauty I mean it's crazy don't you think Justin: maybe I don't know, we'll see Adelaide: yeah Justin: oh I got you a little something Adelaide: you did Justin: * pulls out a necklace * yeah
