Heartbeat - Part 12

Adelaide's POV:

This couldn't be happening...why...i started crying like i had never done before.

Adelaide: no...NOOOO...Justin why...WHY ME!!!
Justin: * hugs her tightly as tears rolling down even more *
Adelaide: p-promise m-me something
Justin: * looks up * everything baby
Adelaide: d-don't leave m-me now
Justin: Never Adelaide, as long as we live the life as we possibly can together, I promise you that Adelaide * hugs her *

One month later

Adelaide's birthday is in exactly two days, I wanted to make it special for her since it could be her last birthday or not cause the doctor doesn't know when she's going to die but it could happen at any day. Her parents, my parents, her friends and me planned a party for her. Right now I was with my mom and Adelaide's mom at the mall to find a birthday present.

Vanessa: so Justin, you're sure you wanna do this
Justin: * smile's a little * yes I am
Pattie: you really love her, don't you
Justin: more than anything

If you're wondering what we're talking about just wait and you'll see. Well we bought all the presents and went back to Adelaide, I'm afraid I have to say she's very weak. It was hard for her to breathe because her chest hurts all the time but I don't wanna think about this right now so we entered the house.

Adelaide: * pecks him on his lips * hey Justin, where have you been
Justin: * smirks * oh you know just buying presents for you
Adelaide: * smile's * cool so what did you buy me
Justin: * shakes his head * I'm not gonna tell you
Adelaide: * groans * well then— * breathes harder *
Justin: * frowns * hey...is everything okay
Adelaide: * breathes out * oh you know...the breathing thing
Justin: * sad * yeah right
Adelaide: * sighs * it gets harder every day but hey...let's not talk about this okay
Justin: * nods * yeah you're right
Adelaide: so what are we doing today
Justin: something you've ever wanted to do
Adelaide: what is it
Justin: we're going camping and you can sleep under the stars, you told me you'd like to do this some time
Adelaide: * excited * oh my gosh this is going to be so cool
Justin: * smile's * well then pack your things so we can go
Adelaide: alright * runs upstairs *

I knew she would be excited, you remember the time I showed Adelaide the beach house. At this day she told me the things she wanted to do in her life and well this was one of those things.

Later at night

It was already 10pm we were sitting at the fire with a blanket around us.

Adelaide: you know this is what I've ever wanted, to do camping and sit at the fire with the person I love
Justin: * smile's * I'm glad you like it
Adelaide: and I've always dreamed about having my...no I can't tell you this
Justin: oh come on tell me I wanna know
Adelaide: * shakes her head * not it's embarrassing
Justin: you know you can tell me everything
Adelaide: * sighs * fine but you have to promise me you won't laugh
Justin: i promise
Adelaide: * blushes * okay I've ever dreamed about having my first time when I go camping and then at the fire
Justin: so how do you think about that now
Adelaide: * blushes even more * still the same
Justin: * chuckles * you're cute you know that
Adelaide: I know...but I want you to make love to me
Justin: are you sure about that
Adelaide: yes I am
Justin: * nods * okay
Adelaide: * kisses him *
Justin: * kisses back *
Adelaide: * deepens the kiss *
Justin & Adelaide: * lays down on the ground without breaking the kiss *

Adelaide: * laying on Justin's bare chest *
Justin: * kisses her head * can I ask you something
Adelaide: * nods * yeah anything
Justin: * gulps a little * are you scared
Adelaide: * looks up at him * to death
Justin: * gets tears in his eyes and nods *
Adelaide: * puts her forehead against his and voice quivering * I'm scared of not being with you and you not wanting to be with me
Justin: * puts his hands on her cheek and kisses her passionately *
Adelaide: * kisses back with equal passion *

Two days later

Adelaide's POV:

I woke up the morning because someone was stroking my cheek. I opened my eyes and looked into the most beautiful brown eyes ever.

Justin: * smile's * morning Adelaide
Adelaide: * yawns * morning Justin
Justin: happy birthday
Adelaide: * smile's * thank you Justin
Justin: how did you sleep
Adelaide: it was okay, my chest hurted a little
Justin: * gets a little sad * you okay now
Adelaide: yeah don't worry

We walked downstairs and had breakfast,  Justin made my favorite...pancakes.

Adelaide: * curious * so what are we doing now

In this moment the doorbell rang

Adelaide: oh who could that be

I opened the door and got attacked by a big hug from Hailey

Hailey: * smile's * happy birthday Adelaide
Adelaide: thanks Hailey, what are you doing here so early
Hailey: well your lovely boyfriend told me to take you to the mall and have a wonderful shopping day because he has some stuff to do what do you think about that
Adelaide: * smile's * sounds good
Hailey: * takes her hand * perfect then let's go
Adelaide: bye Justin, see you later
Justin: * smile's * bye have fun

Few minutes later

Justin's POV:

Only a few more minutes and Adelaide would come back. Everything was prepared but god was I nervous.

Justin: what if she doesn't want to, mom
Pattie: trust me honey she does, she loves you

The door opened and Adelaide and Hailey came in.

Justin, Pattie, Jeremy, Vanessa, Robert, Shawn, Jaden, David & Ryan: SURPRISE!!!

Adelaide's POV:

Wow I didn't expect this...all my friends, my parents, Justin's parents, my brothers and of course Justin was there.

Vanessa: * smile's and hugs her tightly * happy birthday honey
David: * looks at his brother and dad * group hug

My parents, my brothers and me hugged each other tightly. Everyone said their happy birthday and gave me my presents until Justin came to me.

Justin: * smile's * hey
Adelaide: * smile's back * hey
Justin: I think I already said happy birthday but again happy birthday Adelaide
Adelaide: * giggles * thanks Justin
Justin: * looks into her eyes * you know I love you and can describe how much I do that
Adelaide: * smile's * I love you too Justin
Justin: * smile's back * I thought about this, why do I love you and I have many reason but 10 of them you should know, Reason No. 10: is because of your gorgeous smile, Reason No. 9: is because you're so beautiful, Reason No. 8: is because I love your voice, Reason No. 7: is because of your sense of humor, Reason No. 6: is because we look perfect together, Reason No. 5: is because I can tell you everything, Reason No. 4: is because you're my life support, Reason No. 3: is because you mean the world to me, Reason No. 2: is because you hold the key to my heart but the most important reason why I love you is because you love me back
Adelaide: * gets tears in her eyes *
Justin: like I said before these are ten reasons of a million why I love you, you're special Adelaide and no one can replace you...before I met you i didn't know this word Love but Love is if you care for someone if you want to protect someone or if you feel comfortable around someone, you mean the world to me Adelaide and I would never NEVER leave you...that's why I ask you now
* gets down on one knee and takes out a box *
Adelaide: * covers her mouth * oh my god
Justin: Adelaide Grace Quinn...will you marry me * opens the box and shows a beautiful silver diamond ring *
