Chapter 48

Niall's pov

Half way through the night I woke and couldn't fall back asleep. I think I just had to much on my mind I looked over to Aaron he was lying next to me. My beautiful baby boy was sound asleep.

I decided on checking my phone. I had a few miss calls and like a text from everybody

Zayn to Niall

'Hey mate, just wanted to know how Em is'

Can I reply to him now? It's only 3 it's Zayn he won't wake up.

To Zayn from Niall

'Yeah, didn't go to plan like we hoped but doing alright at the moment'

Louis to Niall

'Good luck for today. Wish all my luck to Emarlie. Ivan says good luck too'

Eleanor to Niall

'Hey Niall just wondering how Em is let me know how she goes. If you need anything let me know x'

Anna to Niall

'Hi Niall just checkin up on Emarlie please let me know how she is.'

I think I might reply to everyone els in the morning. I also had 3 missed calls from Liam. 1 from Eleanor and 1 from Anna. I guess that's what happens when you have your phone off all day. At least everyone cares.

*morning*

I woke up from Aaron's wailing. He wasn't actually crying just wanted attention. I picked up up holding him above me "what?...what?" I asked him in my baby voice. He just gave me a big smile. His smile made me smile I pulled him in close to me hugging him into my chest "you want food don't ya" I said to him "you do yes you do" I said sitting up and walking out to mums kitchen.

I put a bottle in the microwave and put Aaron on the floor to roll around. Mum walked out all dressed with wet hair. I think she had a shower "morning" she said to me all cheery

"Morning" I replied picking Aaron up off the ground to feed him.

I checked my phone while feeding Aaron and replied to all my texts from yesterday. "We will go see mummy today.. Yeah" I told Aaron. He had his hands on the bottle he has been starting to hold on lately "your done" I said pulling the teet of the bottle out of his mouth. He started whining "your done. There's nothin left"

Mum"Still hungry?" I nodded my head. As I sat him up and burped him.

"Your not going to burp are ya buddy?" I asked him after a few minutes of tapping his back "stop crying your gonna wake Chris" I told him in my baby voice as i starting to bob him on my knees. Mum passed me my tea "thanks" I said. I popped his dummy in his mouth and sat him on the floor. He can sit himself up now soon he will be crawling. He's growing up so fast it's not funny! I sipped my tea while watching the tv with mum. Aaron looked to me and sooked.

"Why don't you try him in something solid?" I didn't take my eyes if Aaron as he put his hands up for me just sitting there.

"Like what?" I responded to mum

"Mash up a banana or something"

"I don't know when Em was going to start him on that stuff"

"I'm sure she won't mind. You are his parent too"

"I know .."

"It's not going to kill him" she laughed "he's hungry so the only thing you can do is try"

"Alright..? Do you have a banana?" I questioned standing up mum nodded her head and pointed to the fruit bowl on the bench that I had never seen before.

I grabbed a banana and mashed it up. I sat Aaron up on my knee as there was no where else for him to go. Mum doesn't have a high chair. But I don't think it will be long till she has one. She sorta goes crazy over the whole baby stuff. I scooped a mouthful into Aaron's mouth. He swallowed it and gave me a smile. He was happy "you like that" I laughed at him as I scooped another into his mouth he kicked his legs up and down. Now he was in a good mood.

"Next time you feed him Niall make sure you feed him a solid first then milk" alright then. "It's just better that way" she smiled I nodded my head at her continuing to focus on my son. He was really enjoying this banana.

Once Az finished his banana he played on the floor why I ate my breakfast. My phone buzzed I picked it up and it was Eleanor calling

"Ello?" I said into the phone

"Hi Niall how are you?" I herd Eleanor's voice reply

I scratched my head "yeah good"

"That's good. I was just wondering if we are aloud to visit today"

"She is in intensive care for a few days. But I don't see why not. Only 3 people at a time though"

"Oh okay well umm okay. What time are you going?"

"Aaron needs a nap around 10 so maybe get there around 11, 11:30 later on today" I replied to her looking at the clock it was 9am.

"We might go down later this afternoon I think" she said through the phone. I could here Ivan in the back round crying with Lou saying something to him. Most likely playing to rough. Topical Lou.

"Alright then" I replied to her.

"If you need anything or anything just let me now .. Okay?"

"Thanks El I will" I laughed through the phone

"Okay Niall see ya later"

"Alright bye". I said and hung up.

I watched as Aaron laid on his back trying to roll over. He was so close last week was the week were he was doin everything. He's sitting up now, about to roll over and then crawl. It won't take long till that happens but the next thing we are waiting for him to do is teeth. Apparently that's going to be real fun! Haha naaaat.
