Chapter 40
Emarlie pov
"Happy birthday babe and mummy" Ni said walkin back into the bedroom Aaron in one hand and a cupcake in the other with one candle in it. I smiled at the sight and blew out the candle and took Aaron from Niall as he climbed back into bed. I snuggled in to my awake baby hugging him into my chest. Niall passed me the cup cake as Aaron just stared at it. We both laughed
"Not for you mr" Niall said taking him out of my arms I looked over to him. I put my finger into the icing and scooped a bit off I rolled onto my side and waited for Az to open his mouth he did and I wiped it onto his tongue. I smiled as he moved mouth around
"That's a taste you don't get everyday. Is it? Is it?" I said to him in a baby voice. I pulled apart the red velvet cake making sure not to get any crumbs into the bed I pulled and stuck it in my mouth "mm it's good Ni" I said pulling off another piece Niall opened is mouth and I stuck a bit in. The cup cake was huge but tasted so good! Very filling as well.

I got up out of bed and did my make up and hair I left my hair in its natural waves just moused it up a bit. Unfortunately my birthday is in August so today was only 11 degrees. Big 22 now. I put on my dark blue denim jeans with a black long sleeve top with a cream coloured knit over the top and to go along with it i will put on my blue coat that had six buttons on it three either side down the middle and it did up to the right side and as per usual I added a grey scarf to go with and black pump heels. I walked out of my room with my coat and scarf over my arm to see Niall all dressed feeding Aaron who was laying down on the bed all rugged up "his so cute when his in lots of layers" I said looking up to Niall. I grabbed everyone's coats as Niall picked up Aaron and we headed to the car "it's raining" is said as I locked the front door with a pouty face. We went through to the garage Niall put Aaron in his seat as I threw the coats into the back "do you wanna drive?" I asked Niall as he shut the door he nodded his hands and I passed him the keys walking around to the passenger side.

Eleanor Pov
We were all here at the restaurant. Em just wanted to go out for breakfast just something small. We have all seen how much they have matured since having Aaron. We discussed it before
Perrie"I think they are here" we all looked out to the window as they pulled into a park. Em walked around pulling her coat on as she handed Niall his with some other stuff
Lou"I find it funny how Em has to stand on the step of the car to get Aaron out" we all laughed looking towards her
Me" she even has six inch heels on"
Zayn"do you reckon she hates being so short" she got Aaron out standing back to the ground she held him as Niall put his coat on and wrapped a blanket over him.
Danielle"she does, how tall would you reckon she'd be?"
Maura"we are like the same hight so just over 5 foot"
Me"yeah 5 foot 2 tops... But she was tryin to tell me she was 5 foot3 once" I said that then they both walked in Emarlie holding Aaron. She smiled as she walked over to us kissing Perrie first as she was at the end if the table handing her Aaron before walking around giving everybody kisses Niall did the same but hand shakes with the guys sitting down next to me leaving a chair in between us so Em could sit there
"Sorry were late" Em apologised sitting down
Me"no no your just on time I smiled" to her.
Maura"have you lost more weight em?" She nodded
"Yeah" she replied
Perrie"you can notice it" me and Danielle nodded in agree meant
Niall"it's coz she hasn't been eating"
Maura"Emarlie!" She said in a serious tone
Emarlie"I do eat I'm eating today aren't I?"
"Ivan stop running buddy" I said grabbing his arm as he was going past. He immediately threw a tanti and fell to the floor crying. I looked up to Louis and he just shrugged his shoulders. If we were at home I would just leave him there not giving him any attention but because we are out in public and he his kinda laying on the floor in the way so I have to deal with him I got up off my seat picking him up as he wiggled and cried more not wanting me to pick him up "Ivan stop it" I said now holding him I went through my hand bag that was hanging over my chair and pulled out a dummy for him. I walked over to the other side of the table to Lou and passed Ivan over.

Our meals finally came out Ivan was happy about that then didn't want to sit in the high chair he just wanted to be a pain in the butt today.

Emarlie pov
Aaron was getting passed around the table he started at Perrie went to Zayn then Harry. Our meals came and I went out to the car an grabbed the pram so Harry could eat properly. He had fallen asleep In Zayn's arms so he should stay asleep for awhile hopefully.
"He's such a good sleeper em" Eleanor said to me looking over at him in the pram I turned to look at him to he was at the end I the table next to Niall and Maura (she is at the head of the table)
"Yeah he is" I replied continuing to eat my meal
Niall"it's all he does"
Louis"he will eventually stay awake longer"
Eleanor"and that's when you want them to sleep" she laughed I smiled a little continuing to eat my meal.

Niall was currently holding Ivan as he finished all his food and wanted to get out. I was nursing Aaron tapping his bottom his eyes were just looking up at me.
"Have you gotten much for your birthday em?" Maura asked I shook my head then looked down to Aaron brushing his hair with my hand I looked back up to her
"I don't want anything?" I replied "I have all you guys that's all I need" I said then smiled with my lips closed as I could feel my chin begin to tremble I looked back down to Aaron hiding it from everyone. Niall wrapped his arm around my chair. I knew everyone noticed there was something wrong because it went quiet. I stood up and handed Aaron over to Maura and walked to the toilets fast. I walked in and rested my hands on the sink holding my head up keeping the tears away.

Niall's pov
"I don't want anything... I have you guys that's all I need" Em said everyone was looking at her. That's not her! She will usually joke around and give everyone a bucket list of things she wants! Nobody had handed her presents yet either we were gonna wait till we got back to the house.

Ever since last week I noticed em had been a little quiet like something had clicked in her. She wasn't being her usual self. Then she gets up to hide her tears something defiantly was wrong. I stood up going to follow her but El stood up and said "I will go" I nodded and sat back down bobbing my knees of nerves. Ivan found it fun.

I just thought it was her time if month. Now I know it isn't. I think.

"What's going on Niall?" Mum asked seriously in a whisper voice so only me an her could really hear but by the looks if things the lads and girls were listening in
I shook my head "I don't know I honestly don't all week she has been different. I've caught her crying a few times but she wouldn't tell me anything just brush it off like nothing has happened. I just thought her period would make her like this"
"Well something is wrong Em never cries you know that!" I did know that Em is always someone who will hold it in for ages she really only cries when she's had enough! Or when she doesn't like the fact of something is bad or wrong. The time she cried when we were in America I reckon was because of stress. The most I've ever seen her cry was when her parents died. If she does cry it's only ever a few tears only. I looked over to the direction of the toilets. I was now worried I want to know what's wrong with my wife!

Emarlie pov
Eleanor walked in she was looking at me through the mirror. I wiped away my tear which was rolling down my face "wanna talk?" She asked I shook my head "Em everyone is worried you should have seen the look on Niall's face he was going to come in here but I said I would go. Something is obviously wrong" I nodded. "We are best friends we tell each other everything" she continued as she rubbed my arm. I looked up then she pulled me into a hug
"You can't cry it's your birthday" she said I pulled away giving her a weak smile then got an excruciating pain held on to my lower stomach I crouched down "seriously Emarlie what is wrong" concern was in her voice

I looked up to her. Her face full I fear
"I...I ..."
