Chapter 49

Niall's pov

"Heey" Emarlie said groggily as we walked in the room. It looked like she had just woken up. The curtains were down so I guess so...

"How you feeling?" I asked then kissed her

"Is that really a question?" I'm taking it she doesn't feel that good!

"It will be a while before you will get back to your normal self" I assured her holding her hand.

"How's my baby?" She asked putting her arms out for him I leant him down to her level as she kissed Aaron

"He had a banana for breaki this morning" I said pulling away

"Ooo big boy" she smiled

"Sure is" I said siting down resting him on my knee.

I watched as Em dosed in and out of sleep. I could just tell she wanted to say awake but couldn't. Her eyes would constantly open quickly. I could always tell when she was about to fall asleep she would blink and her head would relax.

"Just sleep Em" I told her once she snapped back awake. She shook her head "I won't leave I promise" I said leaning in to kiss her

"I still don't want to sleep" she said in a baby type of voice. I laughed "I just want a shower"

"Your shower might be a sponge bath"

"Eww don't say that" I laughed at her while standing Aaron up on my knees. He wasn't stable and would wobble and lose balance. He smiled as I pulled faces at him. "I love my boys" Em said tiredly I watched as her eyes fell down.

I kept playing with Aaron as Em slept, every ten to fifteen minutes she would wake. Aaron kept giggling at me. God I love this kid! My first boy my only boy at the moment. "I need another pillow" I heard her say I looked over and she was awake again. I stood up and looked around for a pillow. She was in a room by herself so I just went through everything "I will go ask for one" I said and walked out the dark room with Aaron on my hip.

I walked back into Em's hospital room she was once again asleep I put the pillow at the end of the bed not wanting to wake her. A nurse came in checking her file that hung at the end of the bed then pressed a few buttons on a control panel thing that her drip and medicines were attached to she also refilled the medicines. Then walked back giving me a warm smile along the way.

Once Em woke up again I decided it was time to leave. I hate leaving her I feel bad when I do. It's weird not sleeping next to her at night and her to be my alarm clock for the next day. I just miss her when she's not around. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
