Chapter 18

The door bell rang

"Fuck there's someone at the door" I said sitting up jumping out of bed and grabbing a jumper that was on the ground which turned out to be a red one of Niall's then ran to the front door

I opened the door to see a guy standing there with a clipboard and a pen in his hand

"Order for Mrs Horan" he asked

"Um yeah that's me"

"Can you sign this please" he handed me the pen and clipboard I signed my signature while she walked to the truck and got out a huge box it actually made me wonder what it was untill I read the word 'cot' on the box and it clicked in my head he carried it inside and then left.

I got back into bed "the cots here" I said to Niall, he nodded his head eyes still closed. Why did he have to deliver it so early it only 8am he saw me in my pyjamas how embarrassing! Looks like Niall has something to do today. Build a cot.

We were currently putting the cot together. Niall was to good for instructions so didn't bother reading the manual but boy he was wrong. An hour and a half later the cot was finally put together we threw the mattress In and it was done.

"Never buy flat packs again" Niall said walking out of the room

"Sorry" I said high pitch with my shoulders up at my ears. I left the nursery and went and got dressed putting on blue jeans a white long sleeve top with a grey scarf and cardigan. "I'm going shopping" I said to Niall who was watching tv "i'll be back soon" I leant over the back of the couch and kissed him

"Love you" he said

"Love you too bye"

"Cya"

I went to a furniture shop looking for a dresser to put in the baby's room. I was looking for one that was a good size and the wright colour.

"Can I help you" I real tall guy that worked here said his name tag read the name of 'Dylan' he looked around early 20s

"Yeah I was just looking for a chest of draws this colour" I said pointing to the wood colour of a bed behind me

"Um yep okay well we have a variety of different sizes and colours does it have to this colour exactly?"

"Yes" I smiled he laughed

"Ok do you like any o these" I looked at them carefully "we have different colours out the back"

"Oh okay well I like this one"

"Would you like me to check for the colour" I nodded me head

"Please" he left as I kept looking around. He came back

"So we have 1 left in the dark wood colour do you want it"

"Um yeah ok" he smiled and we went we walked over to the cashier desk

"Cash it card?" He asked

"Card please" I entered my card and my PIN number then taking my card out from the ........

"Ok i will get some help and we will bring it out to your car" I smiled and waited for them then went out to the car the were pushing it on a trolly. I put the back seats down in my car then they placed the dresser in eventually I felt bad coz I couldn't help them put it in the car the struggled as the car was high-ish and the dresser was heavy
