Days turned into weeks, and the rhythm of life settled comfortably around them. Each morning, they woke up tangled in each other's arms, sunlight filtering through the curtains, painting soft patterns on the walls. Their mornings were filled with lazy smiles and gentle kisses, the world outside fading into a blissful backdrop as they enjoyed the warmth of their connection.

Elijah had become her rock, always there to support her through the ups and downs of work and life. Whether it was a difficult day at the office or a mundane errand, he was her steady anchor. He'd often surprise her with small gestures—her favorite coffee brewed just the way she liked it, a note tucked into her bag with a simple "I love you," or a spontaneous evening planned just for the two of them.

And when the sun dipped below the horizon, their evenings became a sacred space, filled with laughter, warmth, and a deepening intimacy that left them both breathless. The couch was their favorite place to unwind, where they'd cuddle together under a cozy blanket, watching movies that neither of them really paid attention to, lost in the rhythm of each other's breathing.

One night, as they settled in for a movie marathon, Anastasia leaned back against Elijah's chest, his arms wrapped securely around her waist. She could feel the heat radiating from him, the steady thrum of his heart against her back. The movie flickered on the screen, but her focus was entirely on him.

"Remember when we talked about kids? How I wasn't ready yet?," soft smile playing on her lips.

Elijah nodded, his expression serious but understanding. "Yeah, I remember. You said you wanted to focus on us first."

"Exactly," she said, taking a deep breath. "But lately, I've been thinking... If our relationship continues like this, so full of love and laughter, I can actually see myself wanting babies."

His expression softened, a mixture of surprise and joy lighting up his face. "Really? You mean it?"

"Yeah," she replied, her tone sincere but playful. "I can just picture us—our future family, having fun together."

Elijah's expression turned earnest, but there was a glint of something more possessive in his gaze. "Then let's make sure we get there. I want you to know that you and I are meant to create something beautiful together."

"Maybe," she replied, feeling her heart race under his intense gaze. "But right now, I'm not sure I want to rush into anything."

Elijah's expression shifted, a fierce determination taking over. "Not rush? Anastasia, you're mine. I want you to feel every moment we share, to understand how amazing this could be."

She swallowed hard, feeling a rush of emotion at his words. "I'm just trying to figure things out. I like where we are now."

"Where we are now isn't enough for me," he stated, his voice low and filled with urgency. "I want you to want this—to want me completely. You're not just playing house; this is real."

Anastasia shifted slightly, a knot of uncertainty tightening in her stomach. "Elijah, I'm just thinking about the future. I'm not ready to leap into anything serious right now."

"Why not?" His tone was firm, but there was a softness in his eyes that made her heart race. "Don't you feel it? The connection between us? I want to make you mine in every way, to explore every part of you. I want you to understand what you're saying when you talk about a future."

She felt a wave of warmth at his intensity, but there was a flicker of doubt. "It's just—this is a big step. I'm not sure I'm ready to think about kids or a family right now."

"Then let's create something that makes you want it," he said, leaning in closer, their lips almost brushing. "Let's explore us, every inch of this connection. I want you to surrender to this."
