Chapter 3

"Alli! Brook!" I cried out happily as I ran over to them and engulfed both of them in a hug. I felt Bryanna join our hug, making it a group hug.
"Oh my gosh! I missed you guys so much!" Allison exclaimed.
"It's been to long! Quad squad needs to catch up!" Bryanna stated. We all nodded in agreement.
"Maybe we can get go for coffee and get our nails done sometime?" Brook suggested.
"Yankee? Get her nails done? She'd rather have Terra eat her alive." Bryanna scoffed.
"Sad, but true." I laughed. Allison and Brooklyn laughed, knowing that it was true.
"Wait. Who's Terra?" Brooklyn questioned.
"That, my dear friend is my t-rex." I smiled proudly. "She's such a sweetheart... when she isn't in one of her moods."
"Wait. You're talking about a plush toy, right?" Allison asked. I shook my head.
"Nope. I'm talking about a real t-rex." I stated.
"Please tell me you're joking." Allison pleaded.
"I could but that would be lying." I smiled innocently.
"You haven't changed, Alex. You're still your old crazy self." Brooklyn laughed.
"True!" I laughed.
"Hey guys! Come meet our boyfriends." Bryanna pulled Allison and Brooklyn towards Zach, Gray and Dunkan.
"Allison, Brooklyn. This is my boyfriend Dunkan and Alex's boyfriend Zach and his little brother Gray.
A chorus of 'nice to meet you's went around. After introductions, Allison, Brooklyn, Bryanna and I were engaged in a coversation.
"Wait. You never told me what new job they gave you." I pointed out looking at Bryanna.
"Well. Let's just say I get to work with dinosaurs now." she winked.
"Seriously?! Which ones?!" I questioned happily.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." Bryanna smirked.
"Rude!" Allison, Brooklyn and I exclaimed in unison. We all burst into a fit of laughter.
"Hey Aunt Claire!" I heard Gray exclaim happily. I turned my head to see Owen and Claire walking towards us with nervous looks.
"Hey Owen, hey Claire!" I smiled at them.
"Hey, Alex. Can we talk to you." Owen looked nervous... Really nervous.
"Yeah... What's up?" I got up and walked towards them with a confused face.
"Don't freak out." Claire calmly breathed out, looking at Owen. I was honestly worried. They were freaking me out with this. I waited for one of them to answer but when they finally did, the 5 words that came out of Claire's mouth made my heart stop.
"I'm pregnant with Owen's child." My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe this.
"I CANT BELIEVE THIS! YOU'RE REPLACING ME ALREADY!" I yelled towards Owen before running off in a random direction.
