I hope you like this because i didnt really think this chapter through

Percy POV

I gave George the Stoll brother's number and hopefully he will be less depressed.

He wasn't the only one who has seen friends and people he loves die.

'Percy?'

My mind snaps back to reality as we reach the pet store.

'Magical Menagerie' Hermione tells us  proudly pointing to the door 'You can get pets there.'

'Yeah, what will it be? A owl? A cat?' Ron excitedly asks

Wait owl?

'Oh uh i dont do owls' i nervously stammer as Nico and Thalia snigger. I shoot the two a glare each

But too late to back out.

So i put my hand on the doorknob and open it, bracing my self

Immediately all owl swarm over my head, attacking me

I spot Nico and Thalia laughing.

'I'm so sorry, they aren't usually like this' The storekeeper rushes to keep them away

'What did you do to make owls hate you so much' Ron says amused

Well i dont know but this is what happens when the goddess of owls, wisdom and a bunch of other things hates you I think to myself.

'Oh, i dont know' I answer as the owls return to their places, acting as if nothing happened

Cheeky owls

I spot one in the corner with grey eyes and light brown feathers. It is quite small and cute though.

I walk over to it and it hops on my shoulder, well at least one doesn't hate me.

I decide to name it Mona, meaning one in Greek

because it was the ONLY ONE who didn't seem to hate me

Nico picked a black screech owl who looked like it wanted to kill me

Better stay away from it i guess

Thalia chose a sleek grey cat with blue eyes and sharp claws for her pet

We quickly pay before i get another owl apocalypse and meet up with Mrs Weasley

'Have you all got your stuff?' She asks us, we nod 'Good now lets get to Kings Cross

'Platform 9 3/4' Nico confirms

'That's right now come on' Mrs Weasley says smiling warmly

I catch Hermione staring at me strange again

What is her PROBLEM?! What does she want from me?!
