Aphrodite POV (didnt expect this did you)
After a ridiculously long and boring Olympian council, I rush gracefully to my bed.
There wasnt a single piece of gossip or good information, which disappointed me slightly, but I am going to have some fun.
It's in the shape of a giant clam, hanging in the ceiling by extremely strong pink rope.
I only stop to pull out a thick book.
It's worn down and slightly battered but you can tell how well loved it is.
Once I'm on my bed, I run my hand over the cover lovingly, then I gently flip it open.
The names of lovers fill the many pages.
Most of those pages belong to Odysseus and Penelope and Achilles and Patroclus. But those were from long ago.
I flip through each chapter briefly skimming each page. Until I find this age of lovers.

Pulling out a pen I write down some updates when I realise.
Maybe it's time to give my current favourite couple...a visit.
