"It has to be in this location," Delia sighed. "We have exhausted all other options there is. Calem found another rune but it lead to nowhere, Dawn has given up and practically you guys were our only hope. It has to be in this location. The scriptures clearly said to."

Spencer leaned over their makeshift map of the ancient world. "I don't know what to tell you Delia, we searched extensively. It just isn't there."

The brunette threw her hands up in the air.

"Maybe we can send more people in this direction?"

"We've exhausted all our options, Spencer. We can't spare any personal otherwise we'd be left defenceless here. We have to find it before they do and destroy it anyway we can."

Spencer rubbed his forehead, "Maybe we can go through the scriptures again? To see whether there is something that we missed. I heard that the castle of Raider had a magical library, maybe it has some hidden pockets or something."

"That is the worst idea that I have ever heard and I live with Charlus!" Delia barked, "No offence Charlus,"

The brunet was taken aback by the sudden attack. "What the—"

"Unfortunately that is the only idea we have, let's sanction—"

"I think there is someplace better we can look," Ash suggested.

"And where might that be?"

"Spencer, this library that you talk of, where did you first hear of it?"

The old man looked hazed, something told Ash he wasn't a fan of cross questioning.

"I didn't really hear of it, per se. There was a... em..." he went onto whisper the rest of the sentence, barely audible to the rest.

"Spencer." Delia said, her voice ladened with honey, "I may have gotten my course work done under you, but I will not hesistate to behead you right here and now if you do not fucking yell what you just whispered."

"I read about it in a poem, alright?!" The old man barked, his face flushed with embarrassment. "I was examining the ruins of Johto and I came across a love letter of sorts which read about the magical library and the secrets it held! I thought I'd come across something but it just talking about a fucking novel."

Ash wasn't much of a describe-er, but if he had to pick a word to describe Delia's face, it would have been murderous.

"Are you suffering from Alzheimer's, you fucking old nerd?!" The brunette slammed a book, as heavy as Ash himself, on the table. The entire room shook from its after effects. "What the fuck went wrong with you?!"

"Well, I don't see you coming up with any ideas!"

"Oh," she laughed, rolling up her sleeves, "oh, I'll give you some ideas right here and—"

"Mom," Ash said, a bulb emitting light flickered in his mind, "mom, I think he's onto something."

"THANK YOU!" Spencer barked—Delia raised her fist.

"What about dad's laboratory? Maybe it has something that can help us."

"Sweetheart no offence but we scoured your dad's laboratory. Where do you think we got these new weapons from?"

"It's better than nothing,"

The two went into a stare down contest. Eventually, Delia gave up. "Fine, take Gary and find me something."

Delia wasn't kidding when she said that James's laboratory had been scoured clean. When the two set foot inside, their jaws dropped so low that they nearly hit the floor.
