The early morning sun cast a golden glow over the campus, but the serene beauty was marred by the whispers and stares that followed Taesan and Leehan. Overnight, the walls of Seoul University had been plastered with pictures of the two from their clandestine meeting at the old library. The images, taken from various angles, painted a misleading narrative.

As Taesan walked through the main courtyard, he could hear the murmurs and snickers of his fellow students.

"Did you see the pictures? Taesan and Leehan, together at night."

"Yeah, I heard Taesan is Leehan's sugar daddy. Can you believe it?"

Taesan's jaw tightened as he quickened his pace, trying to ignore the hurtful comments. He knew the truth, but the rumors were spreading like wildfire, and there was little he could do to stop them.

Leehan, on the other hand, was having an even harder time. Once the campus heartthrob, he now found himself the target of scorn and ridicule. As he walked to his first class, he overheard a group of students talking.

"Leehan's just using Taesan for money. What a loser."

"I can't believe I ever liked him. He's such a fake."

Leehan's heart sank. The betrayal he felt was overwhelming, and the looks of disdain from his peers cut deeper than any words. He knew he had to find Taesan and get to the bottom of this.

---

Taesan was in the library, trying to focus on his studies, when Leehan stormed in, his face a mask of fury.

"Taesan!" Leehan's voice echoed through the quiet room, drawing the attention of everyone present.

Taesan looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. "Leehan, what are you doing here?"

Leehan marched over to Taesan's table, slamming a stack of photos down in front of him. "Care to explain these?"

Taesan glanced at the photos, his heart sinking. "I don't know who took these, but it's not what it looks like."

Leehan's eyes blazed with anger. "Oh really? Because it looks like you're trying to ruin me. First the rumors, and now this. How far are you willing to go?"

Taesan stood up, his own anger rising. "I told you, I had nothing to do with the rumors. Someone is trying to frame me."

Leehan scoffed. "And I'm supposed to believe that? After everything that's happened?"

Before Taesan could respond, a voice interrupted them.

"Well, isn't this a touching scene."

Both Taesan and Leehan turned to see Baekhyun, the classmate from the previous night, leaning against a bookshelf, a smug smile on his face.

"What do you want, Baekhyun?" Taesan demanded, his patience wearing thin.

Baekhyun shrugged. "Just thought I'd drop by and see how my handiwork is playing out. You two make quite the spectacle."

Leehan's eyes narrowed. "So it was you. You're the one behind all this."

Baekhyun's smile widened. "Guilty as charged. But I couldn't have done it without a little help."

He pulled out his phone and showed them a series of messages, supposedly from Taesan, conspiring with Baekhyun to ruin Leehan's reputation.

Leehan's face turned pale as he looked at Taesan. "You... you were working with him?"

Taesan shook his head vehemently. "No! Those messages are fake. I swear, I had nothing to do with this."

But Leehan's trust was shattered. "I can't believe I ever thought you were different. You're just like everyone else."

Taesan reached out, desperation in his eyes. "Leehan, please. You have to believe me."

Leehan stepped back, his expression cold. "Stay away from me, Taesan. I don't want anything to do with you."

With that, Leehan turned and walked out of the library, leaving Taesan standing there, his heart heavy with regret and frustration.

---

Back at his apartment, Leehan collapsed onto his bed, his mind racing with thoughts of betrayal and anger. He had trusted Taesan, and now he felt like a fool. The pain of the rumors and the loss of his friends' respect was almost too much to bear.

Meanwhile, Taesan sat in his own apartment, staring blankly at the wall. He knew he had to find a way to prove his innocence, but he didn't know where to start. The weight of the accusations and the loss of Leehan's trust was a heavy burden on his shoulders.

As the night wore on, both of them found themselves thinking about the other, their thoughts filled with a mix of anger, regret, and a strange sense of longing. The rivalry that had defined their relationship was now more complicated than ever, and neither of them knew what the future held.
