College semester carried on as normal. The end was in sight though. Dylan handed all her work in and finished up with her school placement until January.
The footage the police took, didn't show anything useful. There were shadows that reflected into the hallway from the living room, the time that the furniture was moved. That was it.
Brendon was still touring. They were in France now. Southern France right now, so at least the weather was a little warmer.
Dylan did her present shopping. She sent Nico, Katy and her mother's gifts off to Philadelphia.
Everything else she handed out. Dylan was spending the holidays on vacation. She felt like she needed it. The past semester was so pressured and stressful. Having to deal with everything alone did make Dylan a stronger person, but it would've been nice to have Brendon here to shoulder some of this crap going on at home.
Dylan placed her suitcases near the front door and went for a relaxing bubble bath. Afterwards she pouted herself a glass of wine, ordered takeout and put Home Alone on, a sofa throw over her legs as she ate and watched the movie. Dylan went to bed early as she had to be at the airport for 5am. Her Uber was booked for 4am.

Dylan woke up and got dressed and brushed her teeth. She made coffee and checked her carry on. Passport, tickets money. Her headphones and books for the flight. She washed her cup and emptied the coffee maker.
Dylan rolled her suitcases out of the door as the Uber pulled up. The driver got out and helped her with her luggage. Dylan got into the car and they set off for LAX.

The plane landed and Dylan sat for a little while, letting other people get off first. She picked her carry on up and stood, waiting.
Dylan went through the arrivals gate and went to baggage claim. She found hers and got another Uber to her hotel. It was afternoon here and the sun was out. The traffic was non stop and it took quite a while to get to Dylans destination.
Dylan checked into the hotel and went to her suite. She used her key card and entered the room.
"Dyl? Wh- what Why? How?" Brendon was so shocked to see his girlfriend stood in his hotel suite in Paris. He strode over to her and held her in his arms. He kissed her.
"You have no idea how much I have missed you babe. Missed this." Brendon said.
"I think I do." Dylan whispered. She had tears rolling down her cheeks. Brendon sobbed into her shoulder as they both stood there embraced.
A bell boy knocked on the door with Dylans suitcases. She moved and opened the door letting him in. She tipped him and closed the door again.
"Surprise!" Dylan laughed then,"Merry Christmas." Brendon kissed her. The kiss soon became more passionate.
"I can't believe you did this, Dyl." Brendon said as they laid in bed together. They were holding on to each other. There limbs entwined with each other. Dylan was in Brendons arms. They had made love all afternoon. The sky was getting darker. "This was not what I was expecting to happen over Christmas." Dylan looked at Brendon. She trailed a finger along his arm.
"Bren, I couldn't wait any longer to see you." 5 months is so long. I missed you so much, that this seemed like a good idea." Brendon kissed Dylan on the shoulder.
"This was a wonderful idea, baby. You know my anxiety was working overtime, thinking that you would meet somebody else. I was so paranoid and then you would call or vice versa. My fears and spiral would settle."
"Brendon, I don't want anybody else. I love you." She looked him in the eye. Her hand caressing his cheek. "I am so in love with you that no one else could match how I feel." Brendon kissed Dylan. She moaned as his hands went into her hair. Dylans hands were on Brendons back, stroking his spine and shoulders. As they went down again for round 2, Brendon spoke up.
"Marry me." He said softly, kissing Dylan. Dylans eyes widened with surprise. She wasn't sure how to answer right now. She decided to go with her gut.
