Hellooo my sapphires and other readersss. I had a lot to do in the past month (even this) so I couldn't update but here I am 😭😭.

Please bare with me and if I made any grammatical mistake or anything, it's because it's been a month since I wrote anything 😅.

Since I love writing so much, I have been writing a story in a notebook. It is my soon-to-be released 'THE APOCALYPSE' and the story is almost done. But I don't think I am going to upload it here on wattpad. That was just a time pass thing and plus the story is boring. The plot is interesting though.

Without any further ado, let's get onto it!

[NOTE: This chapter is super long and by suoer long i mean SUPER LONG. Brace yourself.]

Y/N'S POV

"Oh god, so much work..." I muttered under my breath, fingers flying over the keyboard, the tea on the table growing cold. No time to even finish a meal during the break, and here I am, scrambling to catch up.

"What does Mr. Kim think he is? Handsomeness doesn't define character, and he's living proof of that." Namjoon muttered, sipping his tea. His work table, thankfully, was right beside mine-he's the only real friend I have in this company.

"He's got this weird rivalry with me. I can't even begin to explain it." I said, eyes glued to the screen. With a final click of the 'send' button, I let out a sigh of relief, rolling my chair back and stretching. "Finally done!"

Namjoon leaned over, casually peeking at my screen, but then his lips parted in surprise when he caught sight of the name I had saved for my boss.

"Mr. Cold Drink? Wow, that's quite the name choice!" Namjoon chuckled, but I found myself staring blankly at the screen, the sight of his name washing over me. A wave of sadness crashed in as I realized how much we'd changed. Our simple friendship was tainted now, all because of his twisted feelings-his so-called love that felt more like an obsession.

"Jin and I used to be close..." I started, watching as Namjoon's laughter faded, his expression shifting to surprise. "I don't want to reveal too much, but I think you get the idea." With that, I stood up and made my way toward the restroom, needing a moment to gather my thoughts.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

As she made her way to the restroom, her gaze caught on the working lift in her path. Y/N paused for a moment, contemplating whether to confront her so-called friend Jin about everything. A sad chuckle escaped her lips as memories flooded back of how she used to vent to him, how he had always encouraged her to open up. It felt ironic now, knowing that the very person she had trusted had become a source of confusion and heartache.

Y/N felt a surge of determination. After wrestling with the decision for what felt like ages, she finally resolved to leave the company. She knew it was for her own good; finding another job wouldn't be a problem. Sure, the salary might not match what she earned now, but her peace of mind was worth more than any paycheck.

Without even realizing it, Y/N found herself standing outside the CEO, Mr. Kim's office-the very place where her friend-no, her ex-friend-was. She took a deep breath, needing to summon the courage to face him. All she could do was hope he wouldn't humiliate her for rejecting him. The last thing she wanted was for him to come off as a stalker again, making this situation even more unbearable.

'He said he stopped stalking me, I guess...' Y/N thought to herself as she raised her hand and knocked on the door, anxiety twisting in her stomach. She waited, heart pounding, for a response that could change everything.
