Helloo sapphires welcome back!! Welcome to the ones reading my book for the first time too.

Jin's 'I'll be there' released and it was sooooooo good 😭. I became an ARMY in Aug 2022 and The Astronaut by him was my first song. This comeback and album is very exciting for me because this is the first time I am gonna see Jin content happening in real time.

Let's stop my yapping lol.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The marriage unfolded seamlessly, exactly as the Park and Jung families had envisioned.

Y/N, the radiant bride and star of the day, danced gracefully with her husband, her smile lighting up as he twirled her around. Guests cheered them on, some savoring the food while others captured the joyful moments in photos. The wedding unfolded flawlessly, just as everyone had hoped.

But not everyone shared in the joy for the newlyweds. Jung Hoseok stood in the shadows, fuming as his gaze fixated on the blissful couple. His eyes were locked on Y/N, the bride-his bride, as he believed. They were the same age, her just a few months older, making her marriage to his elder brother sting even more. His brother, barely older than Y/N himself, had stolen away the one Hoseok believed should have been his. The celebration around him only fueled his silent rage.

"Dear, why are you standing here all alone? Come, have some food." His mother's warm voice cut through his dark thoughts as she approached him, concern in her eyes. Hoseok's expression shifted instantly; the anger dissolved behind a mask as he turned to her, forcing a smile that barely touched his eyes. "Of course, Mom." he replied smoothly, his voice betraying his expressions. He bit his tongue, hoping to not get caught.

"Did you meet your sister-in-law?" his mother asked as they walked side by side toward the food counter. Hoseok's jaw tightened for a split second, but he quickly masked it, glancing at her and shaking his head slightly. "Not yet, Mom." he replied softly, his gaze drifting briefly toward Y/N, still in his brother's arms, as a flicker of something dark settled in his eyes.

"Me neither. Let's go welcome the newest member of our family," his mother said, her tone bright with anticipation. "I couldn't meet her earlier with all the work, but now's the perfect time." Without waiting for his response, she made her way toward her eldest son and his new bride. Hoseok hesitated for a moment, but his determination was on peak. If not now then never.

There he stood, face to face with the woman he loved—the woman who, in his eyes, had betrayed him by choosing his brother. Hoseok clenched his jaw, his polite facade wavering as he watched her signal to her husband. The newlyweds turned to greet him and his mother with warm smiles, blissfully unaware of the tension simmering beneath Hoseok’s gaze.

“Ah, w-well… I’m Jung Hoseok, N-Noona…” he stammered, cursing himself as the words fumbled from his mouth. Y/N chuckled softly, her smile radiant as she introduced herself, oblivious to the turmoil behind his gaze. That laugh—it sent a chill through him, and Hoseok clenched his teeth, hating how she could make him feel so weak with a single glance.

But no amount of nerves would shake his resolve. His eyes met hers, holding her gaze just a second too long, his polite smile barely masking the fire smoldering beneath.
