The two quickly figure out that they're in the main house they'd first seen, only that they don't know what part they're in, and this house doesn't look to be in any better shape as the guest house. Ivy scrunches her face up at all the trash in the kitchen while Ethan looks through the small living room, both of them finding nothing of value unless you could the healing herb that Ethan found and the dead birds, human entrails, healing herb, and shopping list that Ivy discovered.

They do manage to find a tiny trap door in the floor of the back pantry room past the small kitchen, but it's locked up tight, so they start to look for the key. Ivy checks the garage stairs while her brother decides to look down the small hallway that goes around the tiny space, and just as Ivy's about to cut the tape on the garage's secured door lock, a loud crash happens upstairs on the ground floor.

"Goddamn it! Where'd you two go?!" Jack Baker's shouts follow behind the crash, and Ivy's heart freezes as she hides behind the wall to the garage, having no idea what to do since she figures that Jack had been the one to quite literally barrel through the wall before Mia attacked them.

Ivy also knows that neither her nor Ethan could actually stand a chance against him with their current weapons, which is the kitchen knife in her hands, and hearing Jack storm away from her hiding spot, Ivy quickly darts into the dining room to see the table smashed into thousands of pieces. She quickly pieces together that that had to have been the loud crash that she'd heard, and she also doesn't fail to notice that the old woman has also disappeared, making her vaguely wonder how the barely alive woman can move so quickly as she tries to figure out where her brother is hiding.

"You didn't think you'd slip out before dinner was over, did you?!" Jack shouts towards Ethan, who had managed to sneak around him to head for the keys he spotted in the hall before the angry man had appeared.

"Shit!" Ethan shouts as he takes off running down the hall, snatching the keys along the way, but ends up in a dead end, making him whip around to see Jack standing a few feet from him with Ivy peeking around the corner. "Run, Ivy!"

"Where the fuck do you expect me to go, Ethan?" Ivy asks sarcastically, throwing her hands out as if to remind her brother that they're currently trapped, and Ethan thinks fast before a sudden idea comes to mind.

"Get out of here!" Ethan shouts as he tosses the keys over Jack's shoulder, the man storming towards him with a sadistic grin on his face, and Ivy jumps up to grab the keys, though she refuses to leave her brother at the mercy of Jack.

"Get away from him!" Ivy angrily demands as she throws the knife in her hand, the blade slicing through the air until it hits its target, which is the back of Jack's head. This causes the man to stumble a bit before he laughs in twisted amusement, which confuses and horrifies the two siblings, but it distracts Jack long enough for Ethan to quickly slip past him.

"Run, run, kids! You have nowhere left to go!" Jack calls after the siblings as they take off running down the hall, and Ivy whips around the doorway into the kitchen with Ethan chasing at her heels.

However, before they can even get past the doorway to the small pantry, Jack laughs as he comes barreling through the wall, and Ivy shouts in frustrated anger as pieces of the wall smack into her, knocking her back onto the ground. Ethan rushes to grab his sister's arm in hopes of getting them both away from Jack, but the older man grabs him by the arm, spinning Ethan around before bashing the young man's face with his knee.

Ethan cries out as blood gushes from his nose, which is no doubt broken due to the sheer strength that Jack carries, and Ivy, enraged that her brother has gotten hurt once more, lets out a battle cry as she lunges at Jack with a piece of broken wood as her weapon. She manages to stab him in the shoulder before he grabs her by the back of the head, bashing his own into her face, and Ivy curses as blood gushes from her nose, stumbling back into her brother.
