"Ivy? Ivy! Ivy, wake up!" Mia shouts as she sees the woman lying on the ground next to her, and Ivy groans as she blinks her eyes open to find a frantic Mia leaning over her.
"Fuck, what happened? Why does my body ache? Pain isn't part of me anymore." Ivy groans out before slowly sitting up, only to see a sight that pisses her off. "Where the FUCK are my weapons?!"
"Auntie. Mommy." The voice of Eveline causes the two to whip around to find her standing on the top of a small hill that leads towards the ship wreckage. "This way."
"Wait!" Ivy calls as she chases after the girl with Mia following close behind, but Eveline has disappeared around the turn. "Eveline, what the hell? You had to take my guns?"
"She took Ethan, too." Mia says to her, making Ivy whip around to face her as panic and anger course through her. "I don't know where, though."
"And I've been defending her, too." Ivy mutters as she shakes her head, trying to figure out why Eveline would take Ethan with the knowledge that that would only turn the one person in her corner away from her. "Well, nothing better to do than to search the ship, so let's get going."
With Ivy's abilities being the only weapon that they have on hand, the woman leads the way onto the ship with Mia sticking close behind her, and they finally find a rusted door that leads them into an extremely dark hallway.
"Thank fuck she left the flashlight." Ivy mutters as she turns it on, handing it to Mia for her to use since she's the most vulnerable between them.
Ivy slowly leads the way down the hall, water dripping down the metal walls as black mold hangs everywhere around them, and Mia gasps about halfway down the hall, clutching at her head. Ivy turns to grab her arms, checking her over to make sure she's okay as Mia looks around the ship's hall as if in a daze.
"I've been here before..." Mia whispers as she starts to walk down the hall with Ivy following behind her. "I remember being in this hall, but...there was a lot of screaming coming from somewhere. I-I don't remember-"
"Hey, take it easy." Ivy says softly to the confused woman as she grabs Mia's shoulder. "This ship appeared three years ago, which is when you vanished. Jack found you and Eveline next to the ship, so being here is bound to make your memories come back."
"You're right, yeah." Mia whispers as she leads the way up a set of stairs, only to gasp in horror at the sight. "Oh, my God..."
"Holy shit." Ivy mutters as they stare at the large wall-like pile of bodies hanging from the railing of the floor above them, the bodies completely encased in mold. "Someone royally pissed Eveline off."
"I can't remember who, but yes. Someone angered her, and she took her anger out on everyone, killing them all." Mia explains before they quickly move past the sight and head down the hall into another room, where Mia has another vision.
This one is of two engine workers panicking because Eveline killed everyone in the engine hall. They have no idea what was going on, the reason they work on the ship being above their pay grade knowledge, and Mia looks over at the rusted vent that the workers used to escape the room.
"That way." Mia tells Ivy, who was searching the room for anything to use as a weapon, and she nods her head, holding up the mostly intact metal pole she'd found.
"Your memories are coming back, so lead the way. I'll defend you as best I can." Ivy says as she follows Mia down into the vent, crawling behind her as they try to find their way around.
"That's just it, Ivy. That wasn't my memory. I wasn't ever in that room before." Mia explains in confusion, panic coming across her face, and Ivy tells her that maybe it's Eveline showing her parts of what happened. "It has to be. That's the only thing that makes sense."
