"I told you he was the smart one." Ivy comments as she looks at the several trophies that Lucas has on a shelf in his old room. "I mean, he's got four from different engineering state championships, ranging from 3rd place to 1st. This one's even for Honorable Mention in the subject, so he's the one that built everything."
"That probably means that he's got dozens of traps set all over that barn. It won't be easy getting to him." Ethan figures out as he presses the button on the trophy lamp, bringing the ladder down so they can get up into the attic of the main house.
"I don't even want to know what Lucas has planned for us, but I know it's not going to be anything good. No cupcakes and starburst for us." Ivy jokes as she follows her brother up the ladder, finding a toy shotgun on a shelf and a video tape in the cabinet while Ethan works with another shadow trap door. "That only confirms what we already know. Lucas built these shadow doors, which I actually have to give him credit for. They're really cool and brilliant."
"Sucks he's such an asshole." Ethan says as he finally figures it out, opening the front of the dollhouse, and Ivy hums in agreement as she snatches the blue keycard from inside it.
"Well, let's go crash the asshole's party, then." Ivy says with a snicker as she heads towards the ladder, Ethan following her close behind, and the two make it back to the main hall, only for the phone to start ringing as they head for the front door.
"Hey, buddies!" Lucas says through the line as Ivy holds the phone up, both of them scowling at it in annoyance. "Those two keycards will get you into the party. Don't be late now!"
"Being late is fashionable." Ivy snaps as Ethan orders Lucas to let them talk to Mia, but Lucas shouts at them, telling them that's not how the game works.
"You haven't forgot where the party is, have you? You can get in through the courtyard." Lucas taunts, loving how utterly enraged the two siblings are. "Come on, guys! Everyone's waitin' for you two!"
Lucas hangs up the phone after that, making Ivy grit her teeth in anger as she slams the phone back down before she storms outside with Ethan following behind her, and the two make quick work of the monsters outside before entering the trailer. Ivy quickly puts the coins she's collected into the cage, cheering as she grabs the magnum from inside, and she quickly loads the weapon before handing it to her brother, who tosses his handgun into the green chest.
"I also found this tape in the attic, and figured we could watch it to see whatever it supposed to help us with." Ivy says before putting the tape into the player, and the two watch the screen as a video called Happy Birthday comes on.
The video starts with Lucas dragging someone towards a closed room door, taunting the man as he gasps in fear and looks around. The man's hands are tightly bound, his fearful gasps making Ivy comment that this is arrogant show anchor from the three guys in the first video they'd watched. Lucas puts in a code for the door, though he stands in front of it so that the code doesn't record on the camera, and the man cries a bit as Lucas drags him into the extremely dark room, leaving him there to find his own way out.
"Well, at least there's a candle for the guy to use." Ivy mutters as the man slowly approaches the candle, which is held in the hand of a very creepy clown, and the guy takes the candle before cautiously walking around the room.
The man finds a bathroom, though it's blank as hell, and he also finds a kitchen, which is also blank unless you count the balloons tied around the room. Then he turns to see a birthday cake with three other candles on top of it, but when he tries to go towards it, water falls from the ceiling and puts the candle in his hand out.
"That sucks. Poor guy. Nice knowing him." Ivy comments with a sigh, shaking her head at the screen, watching as Lucas turns the lights in the space on as he taunts the man.
