"Holy shit! A grenade launcher!" Ivy exclaims as they search through the man cave, having already found several boxes of ammo to split between them, and Ethan quickly comes over to see the large weapon through the tiny window.
"We really need to find these keys." Ethan says as he looks at the door that's covered in actual dead crows, and Ivy nods her head in agreement.
Figuring that there's nothing left in the man cave, the two head through the doorway that leads them into another safe room where another green chest is at. Upon opening it, they still find Ethan's old things, and the two figure that it'll be the same for every green chest they find, which brings them to deciding what to keep in the bag for now and what to stick in the chest for later.
They also find a piece of paper explaining that all the missing people had been kidnapped by the Baker's because they were trying to make the infection spread, but a lot of the people didn't make it, meaning they had to get rid of them. A few people did survive, however, and Ivy wonders where the hell those people are at because she wants to keep the infection from spreading to anyone since no one deserves this.
Finding nothing else, unless you count the locked tackle box, the two move through the next doorway to find the room completely encased in that black, living mold. Knowing that nothing can happen to her to make matters worse, Ivy shoves Ethan behind her to keep him safe as she leads them through the room, only for a monster made entirely of the mold to come crawling out of the wall.
"What the fuck is THAT?!" Ivy screams in genuine terror, her heart racing at the sight of the monster that literally towers over her, and she throws her arms up to block the clawing swipe it makes towards her.
"Duck!" Ethan shouts towards his sister, making Ivy dive to the floor, and she watches in fear as Ethan manages to gun down the monster, nearly unloading an entire clip into it. "Ivy? Ivy?! Are you hurt?!"
"E-Ethan, what the fuck..." Ivy mutters as she watches the mold monster disintegrate into the floor before she turns to look up at her brother. "Ethan, I can't-I don't know-what was that?!"
Ethan's never seen his sister look so genuinely afraid before, and it's enough to have terror flooding through him as well. Ivy never fears anything, except for spiders, and the fact that she's terrified even though she can't die, genuinely scares Ethan more than anything.
"I don't know, but Ivy," Ethan says as he shakes her shoulder, bringing her eyes back to him since she'd been frantically searching the room, "don't forget what Zoe said, okay? You're stronger than them, so do what you do best. Beat their motherfucking asses in, and don't you dare hold back. You don't have to hold back with them. Take your anger out on them. Use that fire that Zoe said we'd need."
Her brother's words ring through her mind, making Ivy realize that this is why Zoe had said that. She knew that these monsters were wondering around, though a warning would've been nice, and she knew that Ivy's blinding rage would be the one thing that could cut them down without wasting ammo, which they desperate need if more are out there.
"Okay." Ivy mutters as she nods her head, finding her steel resolve once more, and Ethan helps her stand up from the ground as she starts to feel the fire in her burn brighter. "Let's kick all their asses down to the fiery pits of hell, yeah?"
"There's the sister I know and love." Ethan comments with a grin, feeling better now that Ivy's got her raging fire back in her soul, and the two make their way through the next door to find a hallway that's covered in more mold. "Don't ever feel like you need to hold back, Ivy. I'm good with a gun, but you've always been the fighter in our family. I've always supported you because you fight for the right things, and right now, you need to show these people exactly why the Winters family shouldn't ever be fucked with."
