As Ivy had sworn, she chases after Marguerite with the flamethrower, lighting fire to everything the woman throws at her, and it only enrages Marguerite further, watching as her babies get burned to the ground without a care in the world. Thankfully, upon seeing that all that Ivy was doing was wasting flamer fuel, Ethan manages to convince his sister to trick Marguerite into heading into a different room so they could sneak past her towards the shadow trap door, and Ethan makes quick work of it, opening the door in the wall.
Ivy wastes no time as she starts to shimmy her way through with Ethan following behind her, both of them cursing and yelping as hundreds of centipedes start crawling through the inside of the wall. If she could've reached her weapon, Ivy would've just burned everything in the wall to the ground, including her and Ethan.
They finally make it to the other side of the house, racing up the stairs to find a crow door at the top with a note next to it. It talks about someone named Eveline, which Ivy quickly comments that that must be the little girl that they saw in Mia's video, and then the note goes into horrific details about Marguerite serving up Zoe's mutilated body parts for dinner if she ever touched her mother's prized alter ever again.
"The alter must be where the serum is, but we need the fucking key to get to it." Ivy snaps as she tries to force the door open, but it doesn't budge an inch, even with her newfound strength.
"Well, you keep trying to force the door open. I'm going to go search that crawlspace Mia got caught in." Ethan tells his sister before running back down the stairs, and Ivy tries to get the door open again, going as far as to throwing her whole body into it.
Unfortunately, the door still doesn't give out, even after doing this for several minutes, and Ivy screams in anger as she kicks at the door, which does nothing. Giving up for now, she runs back down the stairs as Ethan reappears, showing her the crank that he'd found, and the two quickly make their way back through the house after lifting up the walkway that goes across the very large gap that's split the house in two.
They make it back outside the to the bridges that go over the water, quickly using the crank to get to the second shed that's in the far back, and Ivy nearly cries with excitement at the sight of the crow key that's laying on a table inside. She doesn't kiss the damn thing like she wants to, however, as her and Ethan rush back through the house towards the door that leads upstairs.
"Fuck, I can't wait to get the hell out of here." Ivy says to her brother as she goes to unlock the door, only for Marguerite to come out of nowhere and grab her by the throat.
"I told you two to stay out of here!" Marguerite shouts as she throws Ivy into Ethan, knocking them both down the stairs harshly, and Ethan hits the floor hard enough to break it, making him drop down into a dug-out tunnel beneath the house.
"Ethan!" Ivy shouts in concern, rolling over to the hole to look down at her brother, and Ethan quickly reassures her that he's fine, just a little bruised up from the fall.
"Look out!" Ethan screams up towards her a second later, making Ivy whip around onto her back.
"Shit!" Ivy curses as she rolls out of the way of Marguerite, who stomps her foot down where the woman's head had been, and the two siblings start shooting at her with everything they got.
Ethan uses his shotgun, shooting at Marguerite and the bugs that swarm into the hole, while Ivy blasts her flamethrower at the bugs that are attacking her. Marguerite cries out in pain as she watches her babies get killed heartlessly, but the siblings keep firing towards her to bring her down. Marguerite tries to fend off the onslaught as she stumbles around, waving her arms wildly, but her attempts are in vain as she stumbles and falls down into the hole next to Ethan.
