Tyrant of the Jungle

it was night in the jungle, a freshly dead Argentinosaurus was getting scavenged by various medium carnivores, even the Abelisaurus was stuffing its head into the carcass. the velociraptors were taking some of the steak sized flesh for their babies as Carnotaurus, Rugops, Utahraptors and Deinonychus were at each other's throats until they heard a familiar sound.

RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

scattered into the thick forest as the Tyrant Lizard King itself walked to the carcass, the Tyrannosaurus opened up its mouth and bites down on the carcass, taking off the foot as it walks off into the jungle while the creatures returned to continue their dispute.

the beast itself has patterns on its skin that looks like a fusion of tigers and leopards, its face has a skull like pattern with a scar across the eye from a fight with a Styracosaurus, its arms have bluish green feathers, and the tail has a zebra pattern, this t. rex was known as Skull the Untamed, one of the Mountain Futas' failed attempts of domesticating theropods, she despises the many tribes of Edenark due to her unique appearance, some believe she had magic properties, some say she's an omen of death, the dinosaur entered the cave she walked to and began to eat.

[the next day]

the Futas of Issei's village freaked out due to Skull's footprints being near the river, Shuriki definitely knew if Gawrak died, Skull would be the new top predator in their region.

Shuriki: DAMMIT, I knew those prints when i see them!

Issei: A T Rex, here in our area?

Kiri: yeah, she's been out of the region for 20 years, it seems she smelled Gawrak's dead corpse from 30 moons away.

Magira: from now on, both of you must stay in the village, I don't want both of you going where she goes.

Issei was curious, he never saw a t rex ever since he got on the island, he thought about seeing the dinosaur, but Magira was onto him, promising herself to never lose another child again.

Issei: mom, this t rex will bring havoc to the village, i have to stop it.

Sharaki: Issei, this is an animal that can rival Gawrak in bite strength, we cannot allow another casualty.

this causes Issei to groan in frustration as all he wanted was to protect his tribe from a predator that can kill a dragon, he decided to sharpen his spear just in case Skull comes to the village, he was pleased that the spear and the arrows are sharpened enough to pierce any armor.

Issei: good, with these weapons, i might injure her.

[two weeks later]

Issei was out hunting for deer for the family, then he saw Skull trapped under two large trees, he looked at her with his spear prepared to kill her, until he was told by the shaman lady that Skull can be a great ally if the conditions were right, then he threw his weapons down and said to her with a stern tone.

Issei: do not eat me, when i set you free!

he thought of a plan to free the dinosaur, the trees were heavy but fragile, if he cuts them on the right angle, he can free Skull, hoping she doesn't eat him, the boy uses all his strength to chop the trees with his tomahawk, felling the objects getting lighter, the t rex then uses her strength and frees herself, growling at Issei, Skull decided to run off to look for anything she can eat, Issei sighed in relief as he went back to the village, seeing Shuriki smiling up to him.

Shuriki: well, it seems somebody did listen to my words after all.

Issei: yeah, the bitch was trying to free herself, but i wanted to kill her, then i was reminded that she can be a loyal companion if the conditions are made right.

they both chuckled as they eat the berries Magira collected, Skyranu looked at the human with a smile, seeing him worthy of being called Great Uniter.
