Stanford's mindscape

Stanford woke up in his mindscape. He saw Bill staring into one of his many view points in his house. He walked up towards the demon, he was curious as to what he could be looking at.

"What are you looking at Bill?"
Bill closed the portal and turned to face Stanford. His eye looking as if he were smiling.

"Oh nothing Sixer. Just your new guest."
Bill teased the subject as he floated just out a Ford's reach. Ford felt himself grow worried. He kept a calm tone though.

"Oh, right them.."
He nervously smiled knowing that Bill probably knows everything already.
"Were you expecting them to be here?"
Ford asked, if he was right than he'd be a little mad. How dare Bill keep that beautiful person a secret. Bill tensed before speaking, luckily it isn't visible in his current form.

"That's something for you to find out!"
Bill laughed as he turned to face Ford. Ford rolled his eyes playfully as he went to one of the unsolved equations from his last dream. Bill waited until Ford was completely focused on the portal equations. He didn't want Ford to see him lost in thought. Not yet.

'Who is this person..?'
He thought to himself as he looked into his hand. The viewpoint was now there for him to look at. He could tell Ford acted differently towards this one. He wasn't this nervous around Fiddleford. Hell, the thoughts in Stanford's head were completely different than normal. He watched as Y/n shifted in the bed. Their face now visible to Bill.
'It wouldn't hurt to pay them a visit would it?'
Bill looked towards Ford. He'd notice if Bill was gone... eh Bill wanted some chaos. He hated being so tame around Ford. He needed to be in a fresh mind.
Y/n's mind to be exact. He focuses in on Y/n. He exits Ford's mindscape, he was now in the room Y/n is residing in. He knows that Y/n hasn't heard of him yet so it'll be just as easy if not easier to manipulate them. He laughed aloud as he entered into Y/n's mind.

"Bill? I think I've figured this one ou-... Bill?"
Ford looked around, he wasn't finding Bill anywhere. His heart sank at the thought that he's in Y/n's mind. Ford cursed at himself. He'd gotten himself so sleep deprived he wouldn't be able to forcibly wake himself up. He groaned loudly as he started to pace around his mind scape. His thoughts wandering to some unconventional ideas. He perked up at one thought. He turned over to the equations spread out in front of him. He shooed them away, giving him a blank area to work with. He began with a small pros and cons list of his ideas.

Y/n mindscape

"Hey! Kid!"
Bill called out, his hand waving in front of Y/n's face.
'This flesh bag sure knows how to sleep.' He groaned as he shook Y/n. They jumped slightly. Seeing the figure from earlier now in front of them with an angry expression on his face startled them.
"Finally! Took you long enough. Have you really never made it to your mindscape?"
Bill joked as he hovered away from Y/n's confused self. Y/n shook their head as they watched the triangle's expression soften.

"W-wait... what do you mean. What are you talking about?"
Y/n was confused. Maybe this all was just a dream and this is the ending.
'This is just a dream. I'll wake up in my own bed in my own home soon enough..'
Y/n breathed trying to calm themselves.

"This isn't a dream Paradox!"
He laughed, he was right next to Y/n's ear. They jumped onto their feet and looked at Bill.

"P-paradox?"
Y/n was confused by this nickname. It made no sense to them. Bill rolled his eye as he hovered closer. He hand clasps around Y/n chin forcing them to look up at him.

"Yes. You're not supposed to be here. You're a time anomaly. A time paradox one could say. Do I really need to explain everything to you?"
Bill laughed as he let go of Y/n's face. He groaned softly as he took a look around their mind scape. It was pretty vague. There wasn't much here to build off of anything. He'd need to get Y/n to let him into their mind to manipulate them more. He had a feeling that wouldn't be easy.

"Why am I here? And who are you?"
Y/n's voice sounded calmer than before. The fear was still laced through their voice though, they couldn't deny that. Bill laughed again.

"I mean you did kind of invade Sixer's m- house."
Bill cleared his throat before continuing. He fixed his bow tie while doing so.
"And I don't really understand why or even how you're here."
Y/n shifted nervously as Bill talked. They didn't really know what to do.

"S-sixer? That's Stanford right?"
Y/n spoke up, their voice shook slightly. They were not gonna get used to this.
"And wouldn't you know how-"

"Yes I know how you got here. I just don't know why you're here."
Bill interrupted Y/n with a snicker. He rolled his eye at Y/n's confused expression.
"Normally I'd know when something like this would happen."
He continued. He hovered closer to Y/n. He looked Y/n up and down studying them slightly.
"But you're something different. You just appeared without warning."
His tone started to drift into something malicious. If he had a mouth in this form it would be turning into a sinister grin.
"And I would love to figure out why that is.."
His form started to distort. Imagines flashing across his triangle body. Y/n felt extremely uneasy at this. They took a step back as they hugged themselves.

Stanford grumbled awake. He wanted more sleep. He kept his eyes closed before he remembered that Bill had probably ventured into Y/n's mind. He jolted up as he placed his glasses over his face and went over to the room Y/n was staying in. He peered in to see them sleeping peacefully. He doesn't know what it looks like from the outside when Bill's in someone's mindscape. Y/n started to toss and turn. Their expression hardening. Stanford didn't waste any time and went in. He hesitated for a moment. He felt his heart skip a beat as he watched Y/n lay still for another moment. Their facial expression relaxed as they were back to their peaceful slumber.

'Should I...?'
Stanford contemplated, he didn't want to disturb Y/n. Their sleeping form was additicing to look at. He caught himself just staring at them. He snapped out if it when Y/n started to stir. He gently shook them awake.
"H-hey Y/n?"
He spoke gently. That didn't help though, Y/n jolted up in the bed. Their heart racing, they looked around the room, to the their hands, and then finally their gaze landed on Stanford. Seeing that they were safe, they felt their heartbeat slow down.

"Shit sorry I just uhm.."
Y/n began before stopping themselves. Bill had told them to stay quiet. A nervous look was plastered on their face.
"It was just a bad dream. I get nightmares alot."
They lied, they knew that Stanford probably wouldn't believe them but they weren't going to say anything. Stanford saw through the lie, he already knew who did this. He sighed and kept a smile on his face.

"It's alright. It's over now."
Stanford knew it wasn't over. He continued to try to comfort Y/n the best he could. He noticed that Y/n was staring at something in the room. He let his eyes scan the room to see a Bill figure sitting on the bookshelf. He let a frustrated sigh escape his lips. He stood up and took the figure in his hands. He stuffed in one of his coat pockets. He'd forgotten he still had it on. He cleared his throat.
"I've had enough sleep for me so uhm.. I'll be downstairs if you need anything alright?"
He nervously added as he left the room. Y/n took a long and deep breath once they were alone. They couldn't really remember much of what happened. They just remembered Bill. They fixed themselves to lay on their back on the bed. They stared up at the celing. They wanted to go back to sleep but they were too scared to close their eyes.
