"The atmosphere is nice," Keith told his lover as they dined together on a private boat, cruising down the Chao Phraya River, after the two had not seen each other for a month due to working in different countries. Roman has to fly overseas to talk about work, so they often miss each other.

"If you like it, I'm glad," Roman replied, raising his wine glass and drinking.

"But if I could choose I would rather be in bed with you," Keith replied with a smile.

"Hehe, I'll definitely be there. Don't worry," Roman replied, looking at Keith with seductive eyes.

"Where do you want to go this year?" Roman asked, because it was close to the new year.

“Are you free?” Keith asked.

"If you want me to be free, I'll leave all the work and stay with you," Roman said while thinking. With this in mind, he will celebrate the first new year together.

"No, really. Regarding festivals, anything. I usually brainstorm with mom and dad," Keith replied, because every New Year he would go back to his mom's house to celebrate the New Year together.

"So this year we're going with your parents," Roman said.

"No, dad called and told me that for New Year's he's taking mom to go see the Northern Lights together, I won't celebrate with them," Keith muttered feeling annoyed. Roman smiles a little. Because Michael probably wants Keith to go celebrate with Roman.

"So you won't celebrate with your parents?" Keith replied.

"This year my parents celebrates with my grandparents," Roman replied, because he had already asked his parents.

"Hmm, actually a friend invited me to celebrate with them. I myself have celebrated the New Year with friends many years ago. But if you don't go with your family it would seem a little rude," Keith said without thinking.

"What do you think? We celebrate Christmas with my family and then spend New Year's with your friends," Roman suggested.

"Your family won't mind, right?" Keith asked again.

"I don't usually go with them on Christmas Day," Roman replied and Keith smiled.

"Am I going to celebrate with my friends? You?" Keith asked curiously.

"Will you let me go with you?" Roman asked. That makes Keith feel a little calmer.

"Is that okay? If you celebrate with my friends, you know how they are. It could be a simple celebration. Nothing was special," Keith said, leaving Roman to make the decision.

"I don't want any luxuries. I just want to be a part of your life," Roman replied, making Keith pause for a bit.

"Do you want to meet my friends?" Keith asked quietly just to be sure.

"It's up to you, whether you want to take me to see them or not," Roman replied, making Keith smile slightly, because he understands the point.

"I'd better bring you an opening ceremony," Keith said, feeling secretly loved by his boyfriend who wants to meet his friends because Keith had already met all of Roman's friends. In fact Keith had forgotten about the matter.

"But I'm not sure, if all my friends will come that day?" Keith said.

"No problem, I just want to see how Thai people celebrate the New Year," Roman replied in a calm voice. Keith smiled softly and sat down to eat and talk for a while. Both about general matters and about work matters.

"Hello, everyone," Keith greeted as he entered the room, noticing that Roman's parents and grandparents were all standing together.
