Authors Note: I know I haven't updated for a long time, pardon me... School has been keeping me busy, no time to update

How the night always seems to wash away the pain we fear. A dawn of a new day means a new beginning but it didn't seem so in the Kim household.

From the look of things, it seems no one had a good night's sleep. All hands on deck waiting for a call or the whereabouts of the missing girl.

"We've called everyone but there is no trace of her," Jimin said in a defeated voice.

"Mom any luck?" Namjoon asked with a calm tone

"I have made a missing report to the police but nothing can be done seems it's not 24 hours yet" Mrs Kim said.

"Are you kidding me? Isn't it the job of the police to help in this matter? How can the be so useless to wait for 24 hours before commencing a search?" Yoongi's angry voice rang throughout the whole room.

"Mom you can do something about it, right? You have connections, what if something bad happened to her? It's almost morning and still no sign of her, we have to find her" Jungkook pleaded with almost teary eyes.

"I have made some calls, there will be a call about her whereabouts soon" Their mother assured.

"Where are places she could have gone?" Taehyung asked with an expectant look from his brothers.

"School?" Jimin whispered.

"I have called the school, but there is no sign of her there," Jin said

"Friends, what about her friends? Have you reached out to them and that Ji Woon guy, isn't he Bitna's best friend? I am sure he will know something" Hoseok hyped out.

"Jungkook do you have his number?" Yoongi asked facing the youngest guy.

"I tried calling him last time but it wasn't going through"

"Try calling him again" Namjoon suggested.

"Mom!" Ji Woon called out, his voice raspy and hoarse. He came down with messy bed hair still in his night Pyjamas.

"Mom, did you see my phone?" He asked walking into the kitchen where his Mom was preparing breakfast.

"No, where did you keep it?"

"I can't remember," He said with a sigh taking a pancake from the tray. "This is so good, Mom" He happily munched on it savouring the sweet taste.

"Stop eating the pancakes and go help me set up the dining table"

"I still haven't found my phone" He whined stealing another pancake.

"Take mine and try calling it but go set the table first" Mrs Sonia said fully focused on her food.

"Ok," He picked up the plates and cutleries already stacked up on the kitchen island. He sluggishly walked to the dining table carefully setting them down as it should be.

"Mom, what's up with the many foods?" He curiously asked seeing the many food bowls on the counter. "Are we perhaps celebrating something?"

"Pass me a bowl there" Mrs Sonia said leaning over to take the bowl quite focused on dishing out the food.

"Ji Woon~ah stop eating those pancakes, they are not for you" She scolded seeing her son ready to eat up the pancakes.

"Who is it for? Dad doesn't like pancakes, and you only make them for me. You are hurting my feelings, Mom"

"Stop acting like a baby, they are for Bit-na" She gave him a light hand slap taking the tray from him.

"Bit-na?"
