THE GREAT OUTCOME

Manorama  went back to her room from the kitchen. She saw a paper thrown in her room with a stone. She rushed and closed the door, she opened the paper. It was a secret message from her companions.

"PANCHI ANE WALA HAIN, TAIYAR REHNA"

She understood what they really mean. She took a deep breath.

Manorama : Akhir mera maksad pura karne ka samay aa hi gaya. Mujhe pata lagana hoga e vice chancellor kab ane wala hain aur ushke swagat ka samaroh kab hoga.

Manorama did everything just to get an invitation from the welcoming party of the vice chancellor. She knows as Roychowdhury's are very well reputed in society, she will get easy access to that party.

Manorama swallowed the paper to destroy every evidence and rushed to Anirudh. She knocked on the study door. Anirudh looked at her and told her to come inside. Manorama came inside and locked the door.

Anirudh : Kya kar rahi ho tum Manorama? Darwaza kyun band kiya??

Manorama : Anirudh mujhe tumse bahut jaruri baat karni hai.

Anirudh : Bolo...

Manorama : Tum Coachbihar ke Rani ma ko neota bejh sakhte ho kya??

Anirudh was puzzled....

Anirudh : Par unse tumhara kya lena dena?

Manorama : Kya tum kar sakte ho?

Anirudh : Haa, main aaj hi unhe neota bhejwa dunga.

Manorama : Sukriya Anirudh.

She opened the door to leave the study and saw Bondita standing there with some papers.

Manorama : Woh main baat kar rahi thi....

Bondita didn't listen to her, she just entered the study. Anirudh was quite surprised and happy to see her.

Bondita : Eh lijiye barrister babu aapka patra, dakiya kaka deke gaye hain.

Bondita left from there but before going she gave a look to Anirudh. Anirudh noticed that but he was thinking why Bondita gave him that look, then he remembered the door was locked.

Anirudh : Iska matlab jab bondita ayi thi darwaza band tha. Kya ushne kuch suna? Nahi agar suna hota toh kuch poonchti zaroor.

Bondita had to come to give the letter to Anirudh because bahari was in the market and koyeli was busy. When she came she saw the door was locked, she was about to knock but Manorama opened the door. Bondita felt a pain in her heart. Bondita went back to her work.

The next day Anirudh sent an invitation to Rani ma. He informed Manorama about that.

Anirudh : Maine Rani ma Patra bhej diya hain Manorama aab tumhe intezar karna hoga unke uttar ka.

Manorama : Tumne mere liye itna Kiya Ishke liye bohot bohot Sukriya Anirudh, age ka safar mere liye hain aur mujhe khud hi tay karna hoga.

Anirudh just nodded and left from there. Anirudh knows she is a revolutionary but he doesn't know what she is really up to. After five days Anirudh got a letter from Rani ma. Anirudh went straight to Manorama's room.

Anirudh : Manorama Rani ma ne jawab diya hai

Manorama took the letter and started to read.

Manorama : Rani ma ane wali hain Anirudh. Unhone bola hain aaj se do din bad woh apni sahelion ke saath ayengi hamari ghar mein.

Anirudh : Eh toh bohot achi baat hain, par tum Rani ma ko kyun bulana chahti ho?

Manorama : Unke nazron mein ane ke liye, unke liye ek adarsh khule bicharon wali ladki banne ke liye.
