Barrister Babu : The Culmination

THE GOODBYE

Bondita didn't tell anyone about her invitation for the vice chancellor's welcoming party. She doesn't want any unnecessary drama or comparison. She knows school will conduct every arrangement so she hide that fact.

Bondita : Main kisiko nahi bataungi ki vice chancellor ke party mein bhi ja rahi hu. Agar wohape Patibabu ne dekha bhi toh unhe pata chal jayega main kisise bhik mangke nahi eh hak kamake liya hain.

Bondita got ready with the school uniform as instructed by the school authorities. She has to go to the school first then they will take all the students together. So she and Batuk are usually left for school. After sometime all students including bondita left for the party.

On the other hand Manorama was getting ready for her biggest goal of her life. She wore a saree with a western vest which is customised with bombs. She was a human bomb. For the last time she saw the house. She was in study, and she saw the picture of Anirudh.

Manorama : Aajke bad hum kabhi nahi milenge Anirudh. Aaj se mera tumhara Jo bhi rishta tha, dosti ka ya pati patni ka woh bhi khatam. Dhire dhire tum pasand aane lage the Anirudh par shayad kismat ko bhi mera pyaar tumhare liye nahi manzoor tha. Main toh tumhe eh bhi nahi keh sakti ke agle janam hum phir milenge kyunki mujhe pata hain tab bhi tum bondita ke liye hi aaoge. Tum aur bondita hamesha khush rehna. Aaj meri maut tum dono ke zindagi ko ek naya mor zarur degi. Bondita mujhe maaf kar dena. Ek bure sapne ki tarah hi mujhe bhul jana aur ho sake toh mujhse nafrat mat karna. Hamesha apne Patibabu ke saath khush rehna.

Manorama came down, Anirudh was already waiting for her. Both of them left for the party together. Manorama was constantly looking at anirudh. She wants to capture him through her eyes. Anirudh noticed it and he held her hand.

Anirudh : Chinta mat karo Manorama tum aapne muhim mein zarur kamiyab hogi.

Manorama : Hona hi hoga Anirudh, mere paas koi dusra rashta bhi nahi hain. Aaj ke baad hum khabhi nahi milenge Anirudh. Tumhara aur mera eh natak Aaj ehi khatam ho jayega. Par tum chinta mat karna main tumhare parivar pe koi bhi mushkil nahi aane dungi. Maine sab bandobast kar diya hain.

Anirudh : Aajke bad tum kaha jayogi Manorama?

Manorama : Bohot dur. Main phir kabhi ehape nahi latungi Anirudh. Eh hamara akhri mulakat hain. Tum khush rehna bondita ke saath aur usse maafi mang lena mere taraf se bhi.

Anirudh just nodded. He looked at the other side. Manorama closed her eyes. She was remembering her whole life. Her parents, her childhood, her friends, everything she left behind for her motherland.

Soon they reached the venue. Manorama took a deep breath before entering. She knows she will not come out from this. This is her last day in this world, in her motherland.

Bondita and other students are already inside. Anirudh and Manorama entered the hall and saw Bondita was talking with some other students. Anirudh rushed towards bondita.

Anirudh : Bondita tum ehape kya kar rahi ho? Tumhe toh school mein hona chahiye tha na?

Teacher : Aree, Anirudh Tum bhi aane wale the kya?

Anirudh : Sir eh sab bache ehape kya kar rahe hain?

Teacher : Asal mein British government ne hume order Diya tha vice chancellor ke sawagat ke liye hum hamare kuch students leke aye. Toh hum har class ke best student ko leke aye hain. Kyun Anirudh Bondita ne tumhe bataya nahi?

Anirudh was in an awkward situation so bondita interfered.

Bondita : Nahi sir main batana bhul hi gayi thi, meri hi galti hain.

Teacher : You should inform your guardian about this type of programs, otherwise they will be tensed for you. Anyways now enjoy the party, go.

Anirudh : Thank you sir for taking care of her.
