Chapter 1:✨Them Before✨

(??? POV of an oc of mine with horrible grammar)

I finally finished wrapping my present as I looked over at my Pearl with a beaming smile.

"Soo, what do you think? Ya think she'll like it?" I asked Pearl, or as I liked to call her, 'Raven'(One of my oc's) as I showed her the gift wrapped and adorned with pink ribbons and other pink things, my eye sparkling like a star.

"It looks lovely, My Diamond," Raven replies peacefully, her composure straight and tall as her hands were cupped over one another, placed neatly in front of her lap.

I chuckled. "Thank you, Raven. Ooh, should we visit the Human Zoo today? I've been dying for a fruit from their trees forever!" I complain. Raven starts to panic. "Y-you're dying?! Oh, no! How do I reverse it, My Diamond?! Do we need to call Pink now?! O-or a Rose Quartz?! AH! What to do, what to do, what to do!!!"

I started to sweat as I placed my hands on her shoulders, desperate to calm her down and keep her quiet. "Uh, n-no? I'm not dying, I swear! It's just a term that human I've been hanging out with showed me, ok?!? I'm perfectly fine!"

Raven takes a few deep breaths as she tries to calm herself down, placing a hand over her chest. "Whew, thank gemness. You startled me for a moment, My Diamond." I raise an eyebrow with a skeptical smile. " 'Startled?' You nearly had a panic attack, Raven. Now come along, let's give this present to Pink! I can't wait to see how she likes it!"

I skipped along the skirts of Homeworld, my Pearl following. I looked around and spotted Pink's room. My smile widened as I saw her, me hiding the present behind my back.

I watched her little Pebbles work as she walked around the room, talking to her Pearl. Her Pearl seemed nice, and she and my Pearl got along very well. One of the Pebbles walked up to me, and I gushed. These little things were just so cute!

I placed my hand down, allowing it to enter my hand. Since I wasn't big like White, Yellow or Blue Diamond, they always fit in my hand well. I used my finger to scratch the side of it's head, and it smiled.

I noticed that Pearl glanced at Raven for a second, then looked confused, then looked back at Pink. When she realized who she saw, she glanced back at Raven, then at me. Pearl widened her eyes in surprise and blushed in embarrassment. Then she tried slightly to be discreet as she murmured to her Diamond.

"Uh, excuse me, Pink, My Diamond, but...she's here." Pearl said with a nervous smile, to which Pink turned around and looked at us confusedly. Then she smiled a wide, shining, toothy smile and stars formed in her eyes. "Oh my gosh, B! You're here!" Pink Diamond exclaimed, clearly happy that I was here. I smiled at her.

"Hello, Pink. It's good to see you, too." I told her with an eye-closed smile. She walks up to me and gived me a big hug. I return the gesture, and she lets go. Then, her Pearl walks up and waves to Raven with a small smile. Raven waves back with the same smile. I swear, they're twins or something.

Then Pearl turns to me with a kind smile and bows her head slightly, making the Diamond sign with her arms.

"Hello, Black Diamond."
