Colet's = The Paranoia

---

Days passed, and even though you were painfully aware that Colet was "stalking you as if you were going to flirt with someone or leave her for good," you couldn’t shake the uncomfortable sensation of being watched everywhere you went. Each time you turned a corner or entered a room, the feeling of her gaze lingered like a shadow, following you relentlessly. A small part of you felt a sense of relief knowing it was Colet behind the unsettling behavior; at least it was someone you knew, even if her actions were distressing you. You chose to let her be, hoping that avoiding confrontation would prevent any dramatic fallout.

You let out a deep sigh as you contemplated the two women who had occupied your thoughts over the past two weeks. Colet’s incessant watchfulness was draining, while the other woman, Aiah, seemed to be perpetually buried in her work. Aiah was so absorbed in her work that you hardly ever saw her at home anymore, and when you did, it was only for fleeting moments. Earlier that day, when you briefly left them all at the house, you caught a glimpse of Aiah, casually dressed in comfy clothes and chatting with the girls. “Maybe she took some day off today,” you thought, wondering how someone manage to convince her to take a break.

Now, you found yourself jogging in a park near your home, attempting to fill your lungs with fresh air and clear your mind. As usual, it had taken considerable effort to convince Jhoanna and Sheena to let you go out; they were always overly concerned about your safety. Yet, Aiah, being the oldest and most responsible of the group, had intervened and given you permission to go, allowing you a small reprieve from the dynamics of home life.

As you jogged going bck home, the cool breeze brushed against your skin, and the rhythmic sound of your footsteps against the pavement provided a comforting backdrop. However, you couldn’t shake the feeling that Colet was lurking nearby, as if she were a hawk waiting to swoop down. Glancing over your shoulder, you caught sight of her in the distance, her silhouette unmistakable. "Thank goodness it’s Maloi’s turn with me starting this day," you muttered to yourself. "Hopefully, this week with maloi will be uneventful."

Upon entering the house, a wave of relief washed over you, but it was short-lived. Almost immediately, Colet appeared from behind the doorway, her expression a mix of playfulness and seriousness. She casually slipped her hand onto your waist, a slight smirk playing on her lips—one that only you could interpret. It was both comforting and unsettling at the same time. You decided to ignore the rising tension and smiled at Aiah, who was seated on the couch, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

“How was your run, hon?” Aiah asked, her tone bright and inviting.

You nodded slightly and replies to her, "it was good, I got my alone time even if it's just a couple of hours" you smiled at her grateful for her easygoing nature that help to light up your mood a little bit. You approached her and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek, then did the same for the others, hoping to maintain a light and friendly atmosphere and avoid any jealousy or conflict.

However, Maloi, who had been observing from a distance, quickly directed her attention to Colet after you stepped away. “Where have you been, Col? Were you jogging with Y/N? Why are you always in all black clothes?” she asked, her voice teasing yet genuinely curious.

You walked closer to Maloi and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, attempting to ease the tension. “Let it go, lovey. She probably just went somewhere outside and we coincidence bumped each other going back here” you replied with a comforting smile. However, as you glanced at Colet, you noticed the knowing smile on her face, one that seemed to mock your attempt at deflection.
