The warnings ladies.

The underground room felt like it was soaked in tension, shadows flickering across the walls as Aiah and Stacey continued their merciless beating of the man sprawled out before them. Blood splatters marred the floor, and Colet stood a few paces back, watching with an unflinching gaze, her calm exterior barely masking her fury. Sheena, standing in the corner with trembling hands, could hardly believe what was happening.

“A-Ate Colet…” she managed to stammer, her voice shaking.

Colet didn’t take her eyes off the man, her gaze icy and detached. She hummed in acknowledgment but didn’t respond.

Swallowing hard, Sheena forced herself to continue. “I… I think Y/N is with… M-Mikha. We saw her earlier—she bumped into Y/N at the grocery store.”

That made Colet pause. Her expression shifted, and she exchanged a meaningful glance with Aiah, who immediately gestured to Stacey to continue “working” on the man. Aiah wiped a stray streak of blood from her cheek as she turned and walked over to Colet and Sheena, listening intently.

“The bastard’s not talking,” Aiah muttered with a snarl, glaring back at the man. “But I’d bet anything this is Suho’s doing. He’s the only one low enough to pull something like this. He’s been holding a grudge against us for years now.”

Colet clenched her jaw, muttering darkly, “That bastard… always looking for revenge.” She turned to Sheena, her eyes sharp and calculating. “You’re certain it was Mikha?”

Sheena nodded, trembling. “Yes… they bumped into each other in the store. I thought nothing of it at first, but now… it feels like it was more than a coincidence.”

Colet’s expression softened for the first time, and she placed a steadying hand on Sheena’s shoulder. “Don’t worry, Sheena. If Mikha was there, Y/N is safe. Mikha wouldn’t let anything happen to her.”

“But… isn’t Mikha dangerous?” Sheena’s voice wavered, barely above a whisper.

Aiah took a deep breath, crossing her arms. “Yes, Sheena. Mikha Lim is known to be one of the most powerful and feared people in this world. She’s untouchable. Her wealth, her influence… she bows to no one. But,” she continued, a faint, almost nostalgic smile crossing her face, “she’s also our friend. We went through a lot together in college. She’s ruthless, yes—but she’s fiercely loyal to those she cares about.”

The revelation made Sheena’s eyes widen. “So… she’s really on our side?”

Colet nodded. “More than that, Sheena. Mikha is someone we trusted enough to protect Y/N. We made a pact back then, an agreement that still stands. Mikha is…” She paused, choosing her words carefully, “she’s someone we knew could be there for Y/N in ways we couldn’t. We kept this hidden to protect her.”

Sheena was silent for a moment, trying to process everything. Stacey, overhearing, had paused in her work, her eyes equally wide. “Wow,” she muttered, the weight of the trust Colet and Aiah had in Mikha sinking in.

Colet’s gaze turned stern as she looked between Stacey and Sheena. “But you’re going to keep this a secret, understood? Y/N doesn’t need to know any of this, and Mikha will keep up the act until she feels… it’s safe to be herself around her.”

The two younger women nodded earnestly, swallowing the gravity of the responsibility they’d been entrusted with.

Aiah’s eyes flickered back to the man on the ground, her voice now void of any warmth. “Enough, just kill that bastard. He’s useless to us now,” she said icily.
