THE LAMP
“Bro, what movie should we watch?”, Emily Serna asks., munching on her takis in which she stole from Ash, who is staying over as usual every saturday night. Emily and Ash both wore matching pink hello kitty pjs and a black shirt. Emily wore her long hair back helf by a hair clip while Ashs hair was as usual, messy and short.
Ash was sat next to Emily, staring at the wall daydreaming about all the 1000 boyfriends he has. ‘Huh- what?”, Ash gets snapped out of the date in his head with his bf. “What movie?” Emily repeats, using the remote to scroll through Netflix. “I dont kow , bro. You choose.” Ash replies, too lazy to choose. “No bro, what movie” “you choose” “no you choose” “Im going to touch you if you dont pick a movie, lil bro…” Ash looks mortified about what Emily just said and scoots over. “Fine whatever bro. Let’s watch your man, Shrek.”
Soon they are watching the movie, the takis bag empty because the two big backs ate it all. 20 minutes into the movie, Mateo Serna, Emily’s ghetto edgar brother, shoves Emily’s door open. “What are you weirdos doin’?” He asks but he couldn’t give af at all. Emily throws a pillow at him .
“Bro GET OUT!” She exclaims, annoyed at him, “yo, shut your bitch ahh up” He replies back scoffing as he takes out a weird shaped cup from his bag. “Here, I found dis when I was out by the traintrack. It’s some toy or whateve n like Ik you two autistic and weird and will like it”, he says in a mocking tone as he throws the genie lamp at Ash, who catches it fumbling almost dropping it.
Ash blushes and tries to lock in posture, straight and looking around trying to appear cool and mysterious for his crush. Mateo never noticed him though.
Emily rolls his eyes, “Bro stfu, you’re the weird kid with that ugly ahhh haircut.” Mateo picked up the pillow that was once thrown on the floor and throws it back, hitting Emily in the head.. “Nah, bro, I ain't the weird one. You the weird one, thats why you adopted, midget.” before Emily could say anything back, Mateo slams the door closed as he leaves.
“That’s my man”, Ash says dreamily staring at the door in which Mateo just left. “Ain't no way bro.”, Emily says disgusted. “Yes bro like he wants me so bad, that’s why he threw it to me bro” Ash says dreamily thinking abt his man Mateo.
“No.” Emily says unamused. She takes the cup genie lamp from Ash’s hands , which he still held. “What is this?” Emily wonders flipping the genie lamp examining it confused.
“Bro, maybe like it’s a genie lamp and like yeah , we can like make a wish and like stuff” Ash says, jokingly. “Maybe bro” Emily replies. “Rub it” Ash says. "ayo bro what?” “Stfu hoe not like that, like yknow in the movies like they rub it and like a genie comes out or something” Ash says, “Ill do it.” he grabs the lamp back from Emily.
“I wish we were in Shrek.”, Ash wishes as he holds the genie lamp. For a moment, nothing happens. Emily snickers, “I should have recorded tha- AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH”
Suddenly, in the middle of her sentence a giant portals opens pulling the two in. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” the two yell as they are forced into the portal.
