"What did mommy ask you to do last night baby? Do you remember." Mommy asks. I shake my head because I really don't remember what she asked me to do. Mommy hums at my response before handing me the sheet of paper that she's been holding onto. I take it and realise it's my list of rules. My eyes widen when my eyes land on the underlined part.

"Uh-oh!" I say.

"Uh-oh is right." Mommy says. "What does rule number 8 say?" She asks, pushing her glasses on top of her head and stares into my sole. I look at the underlined part again before looking back at mommy. "Go on mommy's listening."

"Umm...important tasks should be prioritised and not put off until last minute." I read.

"Very well. I asked you to get your work done yesterday, did you do it?" She asks.

"No...Mommy." I say softly. Mommy hums again.

"What about your playroom? Did I not ask you to get it tidied up last night?"

"I was going to do it." I whine crossing my arms over my chest. "It's not my fault. I was little when I made it messy so it doesn't count." I tell Mommy.

"No that's not a valid excuse, you use that playroom even while you're out of headspace sometimes." Mommy says.

"No!" I yell.

"Don't yell at me young lady. Who's the Mommy here?" She asks sternly putting her glasses back on.

"You are." I say quietly.

"And who's the baby?" Mommy asks. I whine pointing to my chest. "That's right. Mommy understands that baby might be feeling big feelings right now but that doesn't mean baby should yell at mommy, isn't that right?"

"Yes." I say quietly, using my dress to hide my embarrassment. I hear mommy chuckle softly before pulling my dress down.

"Your big girl panties are very adorable sweetheart but mommy doesn't need to see them." Mommy says making me whine. "Maybe mommy should put you in bloomers because you don't seem to know how to behave in a dress."

"Mommy stop it." I whine.

"I'm just teasing you baby." She chuckles at my reaction pulling me onto her lap.

"You're being mean." I say.

"I know pumpkin, I'm such a mean mommy aren't I." She says sarcastically before going back into serious mode again. "What I've been trying to say baby is that mommy isn't very happy with your habit of procrastinating. We've spoken about this which is why I'm a little disappointed in you." She says which hurts me, I never want to disappoint her.

"I'm sorry mommy." I tell her not making eye contact with her.

"I know you are baby. I know how hard you try to be a good girl for me. Mommy just needs you to work on your little habits that could be harmful in the long run. That's all mommy wants from you right now. Can baby do that for mommy?" I nod, burying my face in her chest. "Good girl." Mommy says rubbing my back. "Now let's start with that messy playroom." She says setting me on my feet. "Off you go." She pats my bottom. I pout dragging my feet all the way until I get to my playroom. I groan staring at all the toys scattered around. I pick up the stuffy closest to me and fling it across the room.

"Bubba!" Mommy says from behind me startling me. I didn't realise she followed me here. I turn to look at her giving her the sweetest smile ever so she can forget I just flung my stuffy. "Go pick that stuffy up and say sorry, that wasn't very nice." She says. Ugh shes so bossy. I pick up the stuffy mumbling a little sorry before placing it on the shelf with the other stuffies. I then continue to tidy up the rest of my toys. Mommy had to remind me to focus a couple of times when I ended up playing with some of the toys, and dancing around.

"All done." I say running to mommy, jumping so she can catch me. It's my turn to tease mommy now. "When I getting another Mommy?" I suddenly ask, making her gasp. "Another mommy not make me tidy up." I say  playing innocent.

"Oh shush!" Mommy says making me giggle. "Oh is that so funny? Maybe I should really get those bloomers because someone's getting too cheeky." Mommy says walk towards my room.

"No! No mommy! Otay no more another mommy!" I say and mommy chuckles. I start to whine when mommy doesn't turn around but goes to get the bloomers. "No mommyy!" I whine hiding face in her neck and holding onto her so she won't put me down, to put my bloomers on. Mommy goes downstairs with clinging onto her.

"Look." Mommy says. I whine not wanting to see what she's pointing at. I lift my head up to look though just to make sure I don't miss anything. "See, you got enough stickers on your chart for a reward." She shows me, making me smile. "We don't want strangers to see your underwear while we're at the store, do we?"

"Nu-uh!"

"Let's put your bloomers on then." Mommy says.

"Otay!" I wiggle out of her arms. Mommy holds the bloomers for me to step into, then she pulls them up and smoothes my dress over them.

"There we go." Mommy coos. "Go quickly put your shoes on." She says.

I manage to put my shoes on since I don't have to tie or buckle them. I run over to mommy, showing her how I put my shoes on all by myself. "Oh such a big girl." Mommy praises me making me feel shy. "They're on backwards...but as long as you're comfortable." Mommy says picking me up and grabbing her keys. I'm not sure what she means, my shoes are on backwards. The looked fine to me. Silly mommy.
