Slight smut warning~~~~~

Alya's POV

"Hey Marinette, it's Alya. I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch later. Call me back when you get the chance" Is what my voice message sent, 5 hours ago. I made the grave mistake of complaining to Rose, because she invited me, (more like forced me) to show up to this lunch with her, Mylene, Alix, and Juleka.

"Okay Alya, we get it, you're pissed. Because Marinette didn't answer your phone calls or text messages. But you do realize people have lives other than a piece of technology?" Said Alix, slurping her soda out of the straw. "We didn't invite you here so you can mope around,". Continued Alix.

"Don't you think that's a bit harsh Alix, I would have gone for a more casual and supportive approach." Said Rose, adding on to the conversation "Plus, I would be worried too, if Juleka didn't pick up her phone." Rose of course was munching on a cupcake.

"Personally, I think that's the most supportive and casual I've ever seen Alix." Added Mylene. I just gave them all an unamused look and raised my eye brow at them.

"What are you giving me that look for? All I'm saying is that you're making it harder for yourself, stressing over absolutely nothing." Alix crossed her arms and leaned back into the chair. I rolled my eyes and continued to scroll through my phone.

"Hate to disagree with you Alya, but Alix has a point,". Said Mylene, "You did send the message a bit early, and everyone who knows Marinette, knows she's far from a morning person." She continued.

"But it's 2pm already!" I put my arms out to visualize my distress, showing them my phone.

"So?" The entire group surprisingly said that in unison. My face going straight.

"She's been acting a bit........weird....lately. I just can't help but worry about her."

"Look if you're so 'worried', then let's go check up on her. Just so you'll stop bitching," Suggested Alix. I smiled, finally I have a reason to go to her place.

We got up from our seats and made our way to the bakery. I could feel a slit bit of nervousness from the excitement. It was a weird feeling to say the least, especially because we are just going to see Marinette.

The group stood in front of the bakery, "uhh.......why is it closed, it's a Saturday. Is it a holiday or something?" Said Alix, looking in through the window to try and get a good look at what's going on.

"I don't know," I replied back, as I shuffled my bag to grab keys. Marinette had given me spare keys just in case. I unlocked the door, and opened it slowly. It creaked a bit before fully extending its self.

"Come on, hurry so we can get this over with," Alix pushed through me and the girls roughly, we all looked slightly down and followed her. Alix was the shortest out of all of us, we always teased her for her late blooming genetics. But we were all slightly scared of her, she was the most confident person out of all of us, and always said things how it was.

We knocked on the door that led to Marinette's living room. Waiting for an answer. I pressed my ear up against it. Hoping to hear her mom's stern voice, or her dad's enthusiastic sentences. But nothing played.

"Ok Alya, you got your answer. Now let's go before her parents come back and think we're stalkers." Alix said shrugging her shoulders and looking the other way to turn around. I grabbed her arm and stood still. I could feel everyone's eyes on me, as I reached for the door knob and turned it. I heard the bakery door ring. I grinned.

"Uhh,.......Hey babe what's going on?" The very stoner like voice of Nino's ringing through the stair well.

"Shhhhhhhh!" I whispered, back. "You're coming with us, just stay quiet." I whispered once again.
