What A Morning

Marinette's POV

"Mind telling me what happened?" Said Alya, looking me dead in the eyes and giving a smirk with her arms crossed. She had separated me and Adrien. She made Nino take Adrien down stairs, while she stayed up here with me.

"You already know what happened!!......don't make me say it." I said, palming my face in my hands and sulking.

"Scandalous!~~, I didn't know you had it in you." She teased, nudging me with her elbow.

"But seriously, did you confess ? I thought you were trying to let go of your feelings for him? What changed?" She asked. I lifted my head up to look at her.

I knew that what had happened last night was nothing more than a mistake, I am not supposed to know Chat noir's secret identity. But there is nothing I can do about that anymore, what's done is done. I just, have to be more careful from now on. Being ladybug is going to be very..........distracting now. But of course I will guard this secret with my life, I of all people now how important it is to keep such a secret away from the light.

"I-uhh.........well.." i didn't know what to say, I can't tell her how it actually happened. I just have to come up with a semi-fake story. It's not like it matters anyway, because it ends in the same result right.

I began to speak, hoping ideas would flood my mind under the pressure. "Adrien texted me after you left......he-...he said he needed help with a science project...you know because......we're in the same science class....Anyway, he showed up to my place-" Alya cut me off.

"Wait wait wait wait, Adrien came here? To....your house?" Alya didn't seem to buy it. It made sense why though, Adrien doesn't come over to anyone's home, because of his father's strict rules. Not to mention all of a sudden he just randomly decides to show up to my house to do a project.

"He....h-he said he snuck out. And also, no one would check on him because his schedule is cleared for the weekend......" I quickly came up with an excuse. Remembering he had told me earlier that his schedule is cleared for a couple days.

"Oh...ok......continue.." she said, suspicious of my response.

I gulped, "Well......when he arrived, we finished the project a little earlier then expected. So....we made a pillow fort and watched movies. And we.......cuddled!" I wasn't completely lying, I did cuddle with him. I was filled with happiness just thinking about it, even though he was transformed into Chat, now knowing he is the same person just excited me. I saw Alya's face light up. "Then well.........I told him how I feel....you know...about him. And you know what! oh my god you should have been there. When he told me he loved me to! I saw fireworks bursting! It's was magical! No words are worthy of expressing it!" I squealed out, completely blinded by the overwhelming flash backs of last night. Alya joined in. Even though i was lying about the actual situation, i still got butterflies in my stomach, and tingles that ran up and down my spine.

"Girl I'm so happy for you!! You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this moment!!" She grabbed my hands and squeezed them as we jumped around, our celebration was probably heard by the two boys downstairs, but I didn't care.

Adrien's POV

"Bro.........." Was all Nino was able to say.

"I don't know why I'm here.........this is a very awkward situation, dude..." Nino was just spurring out these lines, as he stared off into space,

I couldn't bring myself to make eye contact with him. I looked every which way and covered the bottom half of my face with my hand. I could hear the girls squealing in Mari's room. And here Nino and I were too embarrassed to talk to each other.
