After the lively dinner, the atmosphere in the hotel had settled into a quiet calm. Everyone was retiring to their rooms, but for Taehyung, the evening had left him feeling more conflicted than ever. The laughter, the joy—it all felt distant, overshadowed by the emotions swirling inside him. Every time he saw Jungkook and Ragini together, his heart sank deeper. He couldn’t bear the weight of his feelings any longer. Tonight, he needed to confess, regardless of the consequences.

Standing on the balcony of his room, his phone in hand, Taehyung’s fingers hovered over the screen. He wasn’t sure how to phrase the message, but it needed to be said. His heart was pounding as he finally typed:

Taehyung:
Hey, can we talk? Meet me on the terrace in 10 minutes. I need to tell you something.

His heart raced the moment he hit send. The cool Paris air did little to calm his nerves as he leaned against the railing, staring out into the night. He was ready to lay everything bare, no matter how hard it might be. Ragini deserved the truth.

Meanwhile, in their hotel room, Ragini was fast asleep, worn out from the day. Jungkook, lying beside her, was absentmindedly scrolling through his phone when a notification popped up on her screen. Glancing over, his brows furrowed as he read the message from Taehyung. His heart skipped a beat.

The words on the screen triggered something deep within him. He had sensed Taehyung’s unease around Ragini for a while now, but this message confirmed his worst suspicion. Taehyung wanted to confess.

Jungkook's eyes darkened,"Is this what he’s been holding back? Does he think he can just tell her his feelings and that it’ll change something between us?"

His jaw clenched as he carefully slipped out of bed, his movements slow and calculated, ensuring Ragini wouldn’t wake. He grabbed his jacket and phone, making his way to the terrace. There was no way he would let Taehyung get to Ragini tonight.

But as he heard the terrace door creak open, Taehyung froze. He turned, expecting Ragini. Instead, Jungkook’s tall frame loomed in the doorway, his jaw set, eyes glinting in the soft light.

“You were waiting for her, weren’t you?”

Taehyung’s heart sank. His eyes widened, and he stepped back unconsciously.
“Where’s Ragini? I… I was expecting her.”

Jungkook’s lips curled into a smirk, though his eyes burned with barely restrained fury. He stepped closer, the air between them thickening.“She’s sleeping. And I think I know what you wanted to talk to her about, hyung.” His words were sharp, dripping with bitterness.

Taehyung’s chest tightened as he tried to find the right words. He hadn’t expected this confrontation, not now.“I wasn’t trying to— I just wanted to talk to her. That’s all.”

Jungkook's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenching visibly.“Talk? Don’t play dumb, Tae. I’ve seen the way you look at her. You’re not just here to talk.”

Jungkook’s voice was low, controlled, but there was a dangerous edge to it. "What are you going to tell her? That you have feelings for her? You think you can just walk in and change everything?"

Taehyung sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair, clearly struggling with the situation. He didn’t want to fight with Jungkook, but he wasn’t going to back down either."She deserves to know the truth, Kook. I’ve kept this to myself for too long, and I can’t do it anymore."

Jungkook’s eyes flashed with anger. He stepped closer, his presence overpowering.
"You’re too late, hyung. She’s with me now. You had your chance, and you missed it. What’s telling her going to change? Do you think she’ll suddenly look at you differently?"
