𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐍 in 1995, Garcia spent her entire childhood acting in as many plays and musicals as she could. She landed roles in her town's theatre department, such as Matilda (2005) and Billy Elliot (2006).
Her love of theatre continued on into middle school and high school, where she would eventually star as a lead in her high school's production of Into The Woods (2013).
Because of her talent, she was entered into the Regional Awards Program (Rap) Competition. In 2013, she would go on to win the Best Performance by an Actress award at the Jimmy Awards.
Following this success, She attended The Theatre School at Depaul University (2013-2017). She performed in many shows throughout her enrollment, including The Scavengers (2014) also starring Stranger Things Actor Joe Keery, In The Heights (2014), Peter Pan and Wendy (2016), and Romeo and Juliet (2016).
Immediately after graduating, She emigrated to New York to pursue her Broadway Career. After a short time, she managed to land the role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (2017). She would then star in My Fair Lady (2017), For which she was Nominated as Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical at the Tony Awards. However, she lost the award to Katrina Lenk for The Band's Visit.
After becoming a Tony Nominee, her first forray back onto the stage was Hadestown, where she originated the role of Eurydice (2019).
Garcia has also been very active on social media, garnering a plethora of attention and followers. Especially after the Covid Lockdowns, she has stayed off the stage and on her social platforms. The most active being her Youtube account, which is sitting at about 752,000 Followers.
However, Garcia announced that she'd be playing Cinderella in this year's Into The Woods revival.
As for her romantic life, Garcia has been spotted through the years with fellow Scavengers castmate Joe Keery. Yet, they both denounce any rumors of an attachment between them. Other than that, Garcia has had a few short flings, such as Josh Hutcherson (Early 2018- Late 2018), and Maya Hawke (2019-2020).
Jasmine Amor Garcia certainly has a lot going for her, and we are anxiously waiting to see what she does next.
