As they settled into their meal, the conversation shifted, and Leonardo leaned forward, curiosity evident in his eyes. “So, Eleanor,” he began, “we’d love to know more about you. What do you like to do outside of work?”

Eleanor hesitated for a moment, her emerald green eyes flickering between the three men. She was used to keeping her personal life private, but something about their interest felt genuine. “Well, I guess I’m a strong introvert,” she admitted, pushing a strand of her waist-length red hair behind her ear. “People can be deceiving and quick to hurt your trust, you know?”

Roberto nodded, his expression thoughtful. “I get that. It can be hard to find genuine connections in a world where everyone has their own agenda.”

“Exactly,” Eleanor replied, grateful for their understanding. “I only have one close friend, and that’s Blake. We met in college, and he’s really the only person I trust.” She paused, a soft smile forming on her lips as she thought of her best friend. “He’s been a great support, especially with everything going on at work.”

Alejandro’s brow furrowed slightly as he listened intently. “So you focus mainly on your career, then? It must be a lot to handle.”

“Yeah, it is,” Eleanor said, her tone shifting to reflect her dedication. “I try to put my energy into my projects and avoid any unwanted attention. It’s just easier that way.”

Leonardo exchanged a glance with Alejandro and Roberto, impressed by her focus. “That makes sense. But surely you enjoy some downtime? What do you do to unwind?”

Eleanor’s eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. “I’m a foodie,” she confessed, her face lighting up. “I love exploring new restaurants and trying different cuisines. There’s something special about enjoying good food and good company.” She gestured around the table. “That’s part of why I enjoy hanging out with Blake; we both love discovering new places to eat.”

“Food and company are a perfect combination,” Roberto said, grinning. “We should all go out to eat together sometime. It could be a great way to bond outside of the office.”

Eleanor smiled at the suggestion, appreciating their openness. “I’d like that,” she replied, still unaware of the deeper meaning behind their interest in her. “As long as it’s not some high-pressure event, I’m all for it.”

The three men shared a knowing look, each of them feeling a mix of admiration and protectiveness toward her. They couldn’t help but be drawn to her sincerity and strength, realizing that beneath her introverted exterior lay a vibrant spirit waiting to be explored.

As the conversation continued, Alejandro leaned in, a teasing glint in his eye. “Apart from Blake, any relationships we should know about?”

Eleanor let out a light laugh, shaking her head. “Oh, that’s a funny question! I’ve never actually been in a relationship,” she admitted, her cheeks flushing slightly. “I’m just too socially awkward for that.”

Leonardo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “Really? Not even a fling?”

“Not a single one,” Eleanor replied, her smile a mix of embarrassment and sincerity. “I don’t think I’m relationship material. I mean, I struggle enough just making small talk with people, let alone trying to navigate a romantic relationship.”

Roberto chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair. “What makes you say that? You seem perfectly capable to me.”

Eleanor shrugged, her expression turning contemplative. “I guess I just haven’t found anyone who makes me feel comfortable enough to explore that side of myself. It’s hard for me to open up.”
