As Mrs. Kang concluded her speech, the atmosphere in the conference room was fully charged. There was no doubt that her voice. Her vision for the future of Kang Industries sounded upbeat and reassuring. But I could endure no more arrogant words; I could see the woman behind the mask. The focal point of will was indeed heavy, yet liberating altogether. Perhaps, it was simply the feeling of power standing with the huge weight in my hand, which was positioned at my side and causing a strong palpitation in my chest.

The tension in the air was palpable. Almost every bit of the room felt like it was electrified and I could sense that moment—of a change. I looked across at Jinah and Aunt Min who were both filled with dread and strength. The two understood the very nature of the risk I was now prepared to take. But these feelings were just a loud bang compared to the fireworks bursting within me. It was now or never. It was now time to eradicate Mrs. Kang's immutable narrative. Clearing my throat, I stepped into the spotlight, my heart racing, as the room hushed. The transformation has already took place; now it was our turn to give attention to the gasps that filled the room. All the attention was now directed at me, who looked rather surprised while still looking stunned.

"Mrs. Kang!" I shouted, the echo of my voice bouncing back throughout the space. Taking a few steps forward, I winced with slight nervousness while grasping its handle. "Please allow me to introduce myself- I'm Kiara Lim, and I'm the rightful heir of Lim Corporation!"

The audience gasped as one and for a split second I felt the world around me as if it had set into stillness. I could see Mrs. Kang's face now. An effort to maintain her confidence and composure gradually turned into confusion, her mask mysteriously falling off. The paparazzi's flash bulbs went off at a disregard of quantity, filling up the bending stress which had firmly settled over the hall.

"Lim Kiara?" she questioned her throat a barely audible whisper. "You are telling such nonsense. You don't belong here!"

I felt a wave of self-importance pushing me further, the self-importance that is graciously imbued in each one of us. "This is not nonsense", I shouted with all my might, feelings of rage surging me up. "This shall vindicate it! My father made me the custodian of the Lim company, I prophesy upon its victory that truth has come out.

The murmurs in the audience echoed, a wave of shock and curiosity washing over them. My heart raced as I watched the realization dawn on their faces—many were starting to connect the dots, the pieces of the puzzle I had so desperately sought to put together. I met Mrs. Kang's eyes, the fury boiling just beneath the surface of my calm demeanour.

"You've been living a lie," I continued, fueled by the passion coursing through me. "You may have manipulated the narrative, but the truth has a way of surfacing. And today, it surfaces with me."

Aunt Min and Jinah stood just behind me, their support solidifying my resolve. I could see Aunt Min's eyes shining with pride and determination, while Jinah's fierce expression mirrored my own conviction. We were in this together, and together we would expose Mrs. Kang for who she truly was.

Mrs Kang took a step back, her facade faltering further. "You're just a girl," she spat, her voice sharp with venom. "What do you know about running a corporation? You have no experience!"

I couldn't help but smile at her desperation. "Experience doesn't define my worth or capability. I've learned everything I could about this company and what it stands for. Unlike you, I actually care about the people and the legacy my father built."
