I continued having a conversation with Theresa when my phone buzzed, it was Aiah.

"Can you excuse me for a minute? It's my friend." I lied, assuming that my friend called me. But it's Aiah, my cheating girlfriend.

"Hello?" I said nonchalantly, remembering the times where I caught her with her boyfriend who is planning to humiliate me in front of the students.

"Saan ka na hubby, di ka pa uuwi? Gagalit ako sige." She said in a cute voice. But you know what? Let's play this game, I'm playing a clingy person to her, and I'll be doing the espionage to spy on her more.

"Sorry, nag cool off muna ako sandali. Uuwi ako sa sunod, okay lang ba?" I genuinely said through the phone and I'm still faking it.

"Sure, no problem. And don't be late, nagluto pa naman ako ng paboritong ulam natin eh." She said in a cute tone and I'm not falling for it.

"Mhmmm." I said and hung up, not hearing her goodbyes as if I'm saying the final goodbyes to her.

I went back inside to tell Theresa that I'm going home.

"Hey Theresa, uuwi muna ako ngayon ha? Pinauwi kasi ako ng roommate ko o friend ko, namention ko diba?" I said and she nodded in my final sentence, understanding the assignment.

"Babye na Theresa." I said and we both hugged each other before parted ways for another day.

"Goodbye, Mikha!" She shouted from a distance and she waved a hand. I also responded to it by waving my hand back.

"Hello, hubby." I said as I opened the door with a welcoming presence from Aiah. But when I called the nicknames, I felt disgusted because I remembered the betrayal. But I kept my composure and my words that could kick off with a backfire.

"Hey, nandito ka na pala. Come on, nag luto ako ng ulam natin para sa ating dalawa." She said in a low voice and I could sense something's wrong. But I won't hold back.

"Sure, bihis muna ako." I said in a fake usual voice and she just nodded. I went to my room to wear my usual clothes, nothing special really... Ain't making myself special in a ways that she doesn't even care. I said to myself before getting out.
