A’ishah's POV

I spent the rest of the day having fun with Jas and Lyka.

This is our last night here kaya they wanted to party all night.

But instead of having fun on the dance floor, I found myself at our table, drowning myself in alcohol. I ordered a new bottle of champagne despite the large amount of alcohol I drank tonight.

I opened the bottle, and quickly poured it on my glass. I drank it straight, feeling the heat of alcohol in my throat.

My friends are already dancing in the middle of the dance floor. Yet, I'm here, drowning in my own misery.

I was about to drink another glass of champagne when a hand stopped me from doing so.

Annoyed, I looked up to the owner of that hand only to see the same red haired woman who's the reason behind my constant heartbreak.

“That's enough, A’ishah.” She said, her voice is soft because of concern.

“Stop acting like you care, Maxine.” My voice sounded extra bitter. I pushed her hand away as I drank the champagne.

“I can't do that. I always care, babi.” She spoke so lovingly. I shook my head.

Babi.

How dare she call me that after spending the night with another person?

“Leave me alone.” Is the only thing I managed to say before heading to the dance floor.

I danced harder than last night, giving my all. Until another sexy song played. And I sway my hips sexily, catching almost everyone's attention.

Some guys were about to come close to me but a hand on my waist stopped them. And you guessed it right, it's Maxine. Sino pa ba?

She pulled me closer to her body. But unlike last night, halata sa mukha niya ang galit at gigil ngayon.

“For goodness’ sake, stop dancing like that, A’ishah.” She said through gritted teeth.

But I didn't listen to her. I gave her a smirk before dancing the same way I did. I heard her cursed under her breath, totally losing it.

She harshly pulled me to her body, stopping me from dancing any further. But even though there's no space left between us, it didn't stop me from dancing seductively. Body to body.

She closed her eyes, her jaw clenching, and her hold on my waist tightened. It's as if she's trying to control herself.

And when she opened her eyes, I saw fire lingering in it. “Damn it!” She cursed, hinila niya ako paalis doon.

I tried to break free but her grip is firm yet gentle.

“What the hell are you doing?!” I shouted.

“Keeping you to myself.” Seryosong sagot niya bago niya buksan ang pinto.

“You can't do that! You don't own me!” I protested, still trying to break free.

“I don't care. I'm keeping you to myself.” She said before pulling me inside.

“Wait. Are you sure you're alone though? Baka mamaya may naghihintay sayo diyan. Magmukha pa akong kabit.” My tone sounded too bitter.
