I just finished eating my dinner but my parents and my siblings ain't done yet. Palagi naman akong nauunang matapos kumain sa kanila.
They like to chit-chat kasi while eating. Whereas me, I'd like to enjoy my food muna before engaging in their talks.
I got a little bored while waiting for them so I fished out my phone from my pocket. I decided to browse through my phone nalang.
My eyebrows furrowed as I read a post on X. It's a screenshot and the caption says, “Nics followed a new girl. Ito na ba yung girlfriend niya?”
Nics indeed followed a girl named A’ishah. It got me curious. Kaya I stalked the girl.
Her last post was from a few hours ago, saying that she just arrived in the Philippines.
Who is this girl?
With my overflowing curiosity, I stalked her hanggang sa ig. I saw Nics is also following her don.
I browsed through her profile, and there I learned that she's from London. She must be really famous in London ‘cause the numbers of her followers is no joke.
She's beautiful.
No joke. Her beauty is mesmerizing. Like out of this world kind of beauty.
I don't wanna sound cheesy but I think she looks like a goddess. Or maybe she's prettier than a goddess? I don't know.
All I know is that she's beautiful.
While looking at her smiling photos, I can't help but to smile along. Her smile is contagious.
She looks like she enjoys attending parties. She's got multiple friends and they love drinking.
Tsk. Tsk. Not a good habit.
Browsing further, I saw that she likes to run every morning. And that she has a black cat.
Okay, that's good. I give her a point for that.
I'm still wondering though. Who is she? Nics never once spoke her name to us. We've been friends for more than four years and never once did I hear of her friend from London.
“Hoy, Nics!”
“Calling the attention of Ms. Nicole.”
“Sino yung finollow mo daw sa X at ig?”
“Chix mo yon no.”
“Kailan mo ipapakilala yan?”
Sunod-sunod na chat nila Mara sa gc namin. See? They are all curious din. It means Nics hasn't mentioned her talaga.
Nicole didn't bother to reply to our friends despite being flooded by their messages. Nasi-seen rin naman ni Nics yung mga messages nila kaya for sure she really is just ignoring them.
Narindi na nga rin ako kaya I decided to mute the gc nalang.
“Mag-eenroll din ba kayo bukas?” Nics sent me a dm.
At talagang ako lang chinat niya? Eh andaming tanong sa gc namin na hindi niya sinagot.
“Yep, sabi nila.” I replied.
“Sige, sabay-sabay nalang tayo bukas.”
“Baka afternoon na ako eh. I have a meeting with my dad’s investors.” Which is kinda annoying but I do feel kinda thankful. I don't know. I don't understand myself sometimes eh.
“Buti ikaw? What about your other siblings?” She asked, and I can only imagine her eyebrows furrowed by now.
“They'll be with me. My father wants to train me despite the fact that I chose a different course for college.”
