Chapter 626 - Sleepy Time

Outside Lisa's office door was a large, elegant and lavish reception area where Bam worked behind his own desk and welcomed people who had appointments to meet with the President-CEO of Manoban Corporation. To the far side was a fully-equipped kitchen and breakroom where Jae, Bam and the bodyguards were currently eating their boxed lunches.

Bam was busy poring over important documents while eating. It was the last quarter of the year, so the company was extremely busy meeting various goals and deadlines they set for themselves.

The bodyguards ate their meals quickly and returned to their posts outside the locked office door of their master. Sometimes they would whisper to each other but otherwise maintained their silence.

Jae thought that they were boring for being so quiet, so he chatted with Louis instead while enjoying his delicious meal. He had taken three boxed lunches because one wasn't enough. He would've taken four, maybe even five, but still had some shame remaining in him, so he was able to stop himself from being too greedy for food.

His friends, the other members of the girl squad (except for his Boss who always appreciated him for who he was), resented him for being able to eat so much without gaining a single pound of weight. What could he do about it? He was just born FABULOUS!

At the moment, his lively voice and that of Louis' were the only noise in the place. Jae gestured with his hands as he ate and chatted with the white cat who was playing with a ball of yarn in her virtual kitty room. Her fluffy self could be seen on a wall-mounted flatscreen TV.

They were in the middle of giggling at something when Louis stopped all of a sudden.

Two seconds later...

"Hmph! That hoochie tried calling Bambam again for the thirteenth time but she can't get through because I, the cute, awesome and mighty Louis, temporarily blocked her until Mommy leaves Daddy's office just like what Uncle Jae told me. Ehehehe. The hoochie-coochie really intends to disturb my mommy and my daddy's sleepy time. What a poopoo! Meow!"

"Good job, Baby Louis! Yes, that's right! Don't let anyone disturb your mommy and daddy, especially that hoo—that...that evil witch!"

"Louis is a good kitty, right, Uncle Jae?"

"Yes, you are! Baby Louis is such a good kitty!"

"Meow~" Louis was very happy that his Uncle Jae praised him, so he started purring.

Bam didn't hear their conversation because he was wearing noise-blocking earphones so that he could concentrate on his work. Only incoming calls on the phone would catch his attention. That was why he had no idea that Louis temporarily blocked Diana from his contact list and that she had been trying to call him many times in the past half hour.

When everyone left Jennie and Lisa inside his office earlier, Jae immediately instructed Louis to not let anyone disturb them, especially Diana. He also specifically told the white cat not to peek or eavesdrop on his parents.

"Baby Louis, listen to me. You're not allowed to go anywhere close to your daddy's office today while your mommy is there inside with him. Do you understand?"

"Why? Louis needs to monitor Daddy's office at all times. That's one of the tasks my mommy gave Louis. Meow," the white cat asked and replied in his innocent voice.

"Because it's your mommy and daddy's alone time right now. They should be doing something, uh, important. Yes, that's right! They're doing something extremely important and shouldn't be disturbed. I'm sure that there have been times before when your parents told you not look or listen in on them, right?"

"Oh! Louis gets it now! Yes, they always tell Louis to close my eyes and ears every night when they're in their bedroom. Well, not every night but most of the time. Oh, sometimes during the day too when they're alone somewhere at home. It's their sleepy time! Louis isn't allowed anywhere near Mommy and Daddy during those times unless they say the secret password which is 'I love you, Louis!' When they say this secret password, it means that Louis is free to roam anywhere and everywhere at home again! Meow~

"I see, so that's what you mean, Uncle Jae. Louis understands now and won't let anyone disturb Mommy and Daddy because their sleepy time is very, very, very important! Poor Mommy and Daddy! Are they so tired right now that they need to sleep when it's only lunch time? Meow~"

"Pft! Sleepy time... Ehehehe." Jae snickered.

The two chatterboxes continued chatting to their hearts' content, waiting until Jennie and Lisa finished their "sleepy time".

As for the matter regarding Diana, Jennie had forbade Louis to personally continue monitoring the woman after discovering what kind of things Diana did whenever she was alone.Jennie didn't want her corrupting Louis, so she deleted the X-rated memory from the cat AI's system. The deletion had some minor side-effects on the white cat but Jennie would rather Louis suffer through it than be corrupted by the dirtiness. (Jennie hadn't watched enough of the woman's X-rated surveillance videos to know that Diana had been fantasizing about Lisa.)

Afterwards, Jennie left a copy of Louis, basically a bot minus the personality and powerful self-learning function, to continue the surveillance on Diana.

While the two chatterboxes gossiped in the breakroom, Diana was cleaning her mess in her office downstairs.

She had now calmed down after her failure to orgasm earlier. Lunch time was almost over and her assistant would be returning any time. She didn't want questions about the mess.

"That slut should be finished fucking Lisa right now. He has an important meeting after lunch that he can't miss."

Thinking about Jennie infuriated her again, so she forced herself to take a few deep breaths before continuing to clean up.

Unbeknown to her, a virtual white cat with blank, soulless eyes were staring at her without blinking and recording all of her actions every second, 24/7. Its sole purpose was to monitor Diana.
